Chương 29: Unexepcted outburst of power

On the school campus, everyone looked at Carla as if they were looking at her for the first time.

They started gossiping about her beauty and appearance.

They were all both surprised and shocked by this sudden change of hers.

One day of Carla's absence felt both peaceful yet chaotic for them.

One student commented, "look at her, don't you think she became prettier than before.

It seems she is a witch. Look at her hands; they are softer and fairer than before.

Another student commented, "she took leave yesterday for being sick, but now she became more pretty and beautiful than before.

Loot at the aura of her as if she is a princess or something."

Another student commented, "stop those negative comments. If we observe, she became more approachable thane before."

One student shouted slightly, "look at her eyes; they are more attractive than before and looking so alluring. They look more calm and happy."

Listening to their comments, she shook her head but didn't say anything. She kept on walking, not even glancing at them, yet the gossips became louder and louder.

Some people admire her secretly equally to the number of people who spreads gossips about her.

Margery, as soon as reaching her office, started working on her pending documents. Being a principal for such a big campus means handling lots of work.

Adaline also started dealing with her work soon after reaching the staff room. No one either spoke with her or disturbed her.

When she reached her classroom, the blackboard had her drawing with a note the bitch is back.

Not giving a damn about it, she sat on her usual seat, looking at the outside through the window.

Suddenly she wondered, thinking about the wolf she had witnessed not long back.

Easton and Rome completing their registration, came back to the building. The five-floor building needs some additional work.

Being a construction company Rome already spoke with an internal designer for the changes. Since they already had the discussion, it needs a day to complete the work.

Rome assigned the work to the concerned department and then went to the government officials to discuss the design of the shopping mall.

Since the government will fund the shopping mall, the mall should not do not have unhygienic goods supplements.

When they reached the office, mayor Winston is already waiting for them. All the stalls that are going to be branch out were also participating in the discussion.

Surprisingly the interior design of the shopping mall Easton is going to give a demo is designer by Luther.

Keeping all the interests in his mind, he designed the 3D virtual building explaining all the key points. The demo continued for almost three hours.

Meanwhile, Wilson kept searching for the red pendant. Each passing minute he felt like he was so familiar with this red pendant in the past.

Jacob and Leon were continuing their lives as usual. Luther needed in his kingdom for an urgent meeting.

Luther ordered his second in command to be present there on behalf of him.

He doesn't want to leave his daughter at a time like this.

In the afternoon, he called Carla, asking her whether she is right or does she wants to come back. Carla started feeling uneasy while listening to Adaline's class.

Not to alert Adaline she endured, but now she is unable to. She started having a burning sensation at the center of her stomach.

Surprisingly it stopped in the middle of nowhere as if it's waiting for Carla's father to call her about her wellbeing. Carla calmly answered:

"pops, I am fine, there is nothing to worry. See, it's already in the afternoon. As soon as I finish my classes, I will be back home."

Luther urging her to take care of herself, disconnected the call. All the workers started their work according to the plan they have received.

Easton and Rome came to the school campus to have lunch with Carla. As soon as they reached campus, Easton called Carla to join us for lunch.

When they saw her walking towards them, Easton and Rome felt relieved. They can't afford Carla to be in any danger at this time.

Easton is more worried looking at her appearance as he thought she would become normal like before once she gets out of the house, but it didn't happen.

Without getting noticed,

Carla asked, "uncle Easton, will father come to the party we are going to held for welcoming you and uncle Rome into the family..? "

Easton and Margery looked at each other. They don't know what to say to this question, but still, Easton answered:

"My princess, your father, holds a high position in an individual organization. I can't promise you anything without his permission.

But don't worry; we can try to make him stay with us. I will ask him about this once we get back home."

Carla nodded her head and continued her lunch. Then she left for the library to study architecture; while she is stepping into the library, someone tapped on her left shoulder.

When she turned to her right, a male voice e sounded from the left, "hey Carla, hmm, if you don't mind, can I join you for study."

Carla gave a meaningful look and said, "I am afraid you can't as not from your branch."

The boy named daniel, grinning at her, said, "it's okay you continue your studies while I continue mine. I feel bored studying alone in this library."

Carla nodded her head, saying casually, "whatever, don't mind me."

Daniel turned to a group of students who were hiding behind the nearest pillar and winked at them, showing a thumbs up symbol.

Margery and Adaline started discussing the decoration. Adaline said:

"This is the first personal party we are going to organize apart from the ones we used to have with children.

Rome nodded his head and said, "of course, I know, so second young master, we should take care of this decoration things."

Margery looked horrified, shaking her head "what Easton, helping for decoration, like seriously. Please don't even dare to say yes, as we all know about your preparations.

Adaline and I will take care of everything; you stay away from this, not causing us any more problems."

Easton pouted at his dear wife and said, "what do you mean by this, my dear Margy? Your words hurt me. Have I ever caused you any problem before this..?

You can't just malign my character by spouting such nonsense. I am a gentleman, you know."

Adaline choked listening to his words while drinking water, she bows to him:

"Second young master, if you don't talk about your gentleman attitude, then it will be more helpful."

Easton faking anger "don't you dare support her, if you do so..? forget about introducing Rome as your husband."

Rome looked confused, "dear second young master, why are you dragging me into your bickering. I am an innocent person."

Easton felt speechless at Rome's blunt words "fine make fun of me as much as you want. I will leave this place with Rome."

They bickered with each other like this for some time. In the chaos of the problems they are facing, Easton is a relief. Only Easton can be so calm and playful even on the verge of destruction.

They decided to hire event management for the decoration later and parted ways. Carla felt comfortable around daniel, and they started having a conversation about their matters.

Daniel asked her, "Carla, don't mind me asking this question. Don't you feel anything when everyone gossips about you or point fingers at you."

Carla laughed and said, "see Daniel, I wouldn't know that I am not at all bothered. Yes, I used to get upset before but not now.

I can't stop them gossiping about me; I can only choose to ignore."

Daniel just smiled at her and changed the topic, "say, have you ever had a boyfriend or any male as a friend."

Carla looked at him suspiciously but still choose to answer, "haha, very funny; no one dares to even look at me in the eye. Let alone speak with me and make me as their friend."

Daniel felt terrible, but just for a minute, he tried to cheer her up by asking random questions like her likes, dislikes, and favorites, etc. etc..

They were happily laughing while having conversations. Daniel asked her to come along with him to stroll around the campus.

After some time, they parted ways promising to meet with each other after they finish classes.

Daniel, smirking at Carla, stood there until she reaches her class.

He came back to his class and gave a victorious smile to his friends. All others just sighed themselves.

After finishing their classes Carla and daniel met at the main entrance. Easton and Rome were still at the building, checking the work happening there.

Adaline also came out of the staff room and coincidentally noticed Carla chatting with daniel. Worriedly she went towards them and tried to involve in their conversation.

Daniel felt very awkward around Adaline. He now understood how difficult to befriend with Carla.
