Chương 7: Departing
The next day arrived, after doing his exercise and training, Zed started to plan what he needed to do before departing, of course the first thing he needed to do is telling his parents that he is going to leave. Deciding who to tell first, his mother or his father, he decided to tell his mother first just because he doesn't want to see his father first thing in morning.
His mother just arrived from a meeting hosted by Advarus Empire King in the emperial palace, Arriving in his mother room, Cordellia Duncan is frowning while reading a bunch of papers on her desk when she heard the door is opened, she look up and see her son determined face looking at her. Zed's mother is a gorgeous woman in his thirties, she have a beautiful hourglass figure, brown eyes with a curly brown hair making her look elegant in his white noble dress while still looking fine, if one looks closely, one can see there's a bag under her eyes looking exhausted like she didn't sleep for days but still doesn't make her less beautiful.
"Mom, i have something to talk to you" gripping his hand to help him push out the words he's going to say
"is that really appropriate thing to say when you just see your mother?" Asked Cordellia looking dotingly at his son, "Come here give me a hug" waving her hand telling Zed to come closer and giving him a tight hug
While hugging his mother, Zed have a troubled look on his face thinking " I can't bear to leave my mother side if she being like this" gaining his standing after the hug, Zed is frowning while thinking hard, is it the right choice to follow this sorcery who give him power to leave his mother like this?
Looking her son troubled face she decided to ask again " What are you going to say? just tell me i will try to understand" trying to convince Zed to tell her what's on his mind
Convincing himself to ask permission to his mother, "I....I want to leave calesar city to train myself so i can prove my father that i am not a disappointment" while looking at his mother eyes, trying to read what's on her mind after he said those words
" How long until you're back?" his mother asked holding her tears in hearing her only son was leaving her due to her husband that is too harsh on him.
"four years at least mom" answered Zed while whispering like he didn't want his mother to hear what he is saying
Hearing her son reply, She cannot help but broke down in tears. Cordellia is not doing well with her husband, her husband is not treating her well because he said that Cordellia is not raising her child well enough and make Zed into a disappointing son and sometimes, he hit Cordellia just because she always defend Zed.
His mother always argue with his father due to how his father is treating Zed like he is not his son. Every time his mother argue, Duncan always said he did it to make Zed stronger and motivate Zed to be better than others but his mother always didn't support it. Looking at his mother crouching on the ground and crying, Zed immediately support his mother "Mom don't worry, i will be fine and i promise when i get back i will be a different person" saying this to reassure his mother that he's okay.
"I don't want you to change, i don't want you to become a slave of power like your father. I want you to be yourself, The Zed that live his life the way he wanted" his mother said with a depressed look on herself.
Knowing how his mother think, Zed cannot help but to feel blessed to have a mother like this, he thanked god that although he's a disappointing son in his father eyes but to his mother he is a like a diamond untouched by the cruel world.
"Mother as long as i live i will not become like father, i will be your doting son who life his carefree life and bring home a bunch of girl that will bear you grandchild so you will not feel lonely and don't have to think of anything else other than living your life and be happy" while saying this, Zed mark himself in his deepest heart that no matter what he will meet his mother expectation and fulfill his sacred oath to his mother.
Convinced by her son reply, she finally agrees to her son leaving to become a better and stronger man that she can rely on.
Leaving after he get his mother blessing and consoling his mother. He then started to walk towards his father workroom. arriving to his father work room expecting nothing from his father he open the door and look at his father " I am leaving the city alone to train myself through the cruelty of this world" said Zed nonchantly
Hearing Zed walk into his room, and said that without even a greeting he answered " Go and do whatever you want, i give you the permission to leave calesar city But let me tell you this, with your current state you will not even last a week outside the city without bringing my name" said Duncan mockingly
Decided to not respond his father mocking, he respond " I do not ask for your permission, i only tell this because i still respect you as a father but if you ever lay your hands on mother again, i will not respect you again and mark my words i will drag you down your throne even if you are my father" Threatened Zed towards his father with a straight face but his sinister red and brown aura are leaking and trying to suppress his father.
Hearing this his father is a little shocked and then chuckled" Just get out of my sight before i changed my mind" said his father, while the elemental frevor on the air sucked to him and making his eyes glow red and his body emitting extreme heat to suppress Zed's aura
Looking his father one last time he turned around and left.
Getting permission from his parent, check. Next lets go to delios house.
Delios belong to one of the noble family in calesar city, Brogan household lead by his father Evior Brogan. The Brogan Household located on the center of Calesar city and not far from the Zabinski Household. Riding his horse and skimming through the morning streets, Zed soon arrived at the Brogan Household. Passing by the guard because of the Zabinski Medal on His Chest, He then brought in by the servant to meet delios.
Delios wearing a purple robe greeted, "Greetings to the Zabinski Young Lord"
"Drop the pleasantries Delios i come here to bid goodbye"said zabinski annoyed
Hearing his friend, Delios questioned "Aren't you grounded? Where are you going?" looking confused of the sudden event
"I am leaving calesar city and want to experienced the cruelty of the worlds" said Zed boasting to his friend with his muscular chest puffed up
"Wait you're leaving? Why are you acting high and mighty all of a sudden? Well good luck to you brother, God speed" said Delios feeling a little sad by the leaving Zed
"Well i hope in the future when we meet again we are still brothers, and stronger than now" With a hopeful and smiling face
"As long as i live, i will still be your brothers to the end of times and don't worry in the future i might surpass you in power" said Delios while smirking
"Hah! as if, well then goodbye" Saying while leaving the Brogan Household
Little did Delios know that his oath is the best thing he said to Zed and will gain many benefits in the future.
Finishing all his matter he soon go back to his house and prepare himself for his departion.
