Chương 113: Chapter 54 The Gate Of Sorrow Part 4
When I woke up, when I regain control of my body I couldn't help but pause in shock. It's hard to put in to words what it was like with my Judgement skill active but to put it simply, it was incredible. I could feel everything, I could feel the fragile life forces of every plant and animal on the island, I could feel the young souls of my creations as they battled against the cultist, I could feel the mindless hunger of the Abyssal parasites that I had unleashed on to the cult and I could feel the disgusting and terrified emotions coming from the Sixth who was currently kneeling in front of me while shaking in fear.
My whole body as well as the six wings that now grew out of my back were all covered in blazing white and gold flames, my eyes were also sparkling with brilliant golden energy. In all honesty, I looked like an angel, the gold and white halo that hovered above my head only adding to that.
"Ki-kill...kill m-me" I would probably feel bad about what Sorrow had potentially done to put a person into this state if it was anyone other then this piece of shit.
"{Tell us, why did you and the cult really come here}" as I spoke the voice of Joy could be heard at the same time creating a rather strange and domineering effect.
"....."
"{Answer us, NOW!}" I demanded and as I said that my voice seemed to have some kind of compulsion effect mixed in with it. Unfortunately though the Sixth seem to be unaffected by this or more specifically it was like he physically couldn't respond to me even if he wanted too, it was as if something was stopping him from answering.
"....."
{You know, there is a way for you to get information without screaming at him like you been doing} Joy's voice echoed in the back of my mind causing me to pause.
(How?) I asked with out hesitation.
{Just rip the memories out of his head, of course at the current level of the Judgement skill you probably wouldn't be able to get much out of him at all, also just so you know, it will probably leave him brain dead}
(Does it look like I care?) I said allowing my more cold hearted side to show.
{No, no not really}
"{Show us what you know!}" I growled while grabbing him by the head and aiming his face towards me, I didn't exactly know how to use this ability, so I just ended up letting Joy guide me.
The moment his eyes met mind they began to glow a deep golden colour, the sound of his screams filled the room soon after as the flesh around his eyes started to burn, well, I couldn't actually see his face but the smoke coming from underneath his hood gave me an idea of what was happening. In that very moment dozens of images flashed through my mind in rapid succession, most of them were blurry and nearly impossible to make out, however, there was three that were very clear to me.
The first one was of the Sixth, he was sitting at a long table with five shadowy figures. Two of the sitting figures seemed to be arguing with each other about something but I couldn't make out what they were saying at all. They continued to argue until the figure at the head of the table raised their hand stopping the two from continuing any further. I felt a large amount of fear and respect from the Sixth as he looked at this mysterious person. Something that I did managed to noticed was that even though this person moved in a relaxed and calm manner it was almost like watching a predator that could strike at any moment.
The second memory took me a little by surprise, it showed a large underground ruin that stretched out in every direction. The walls of the place were covered in tapestries of an army of what looked to be monsters fighting...something. I couldn't properly make it all out mostly because the walls were too heavily damaged and withered to the point that only small things could be made out, however, I could feel a sense of reverence from the Sixth, it made me feel like this was some kind of holy site.
Finally, the last memory was...not what I was expecting at all. It by far made the least sense out of any of the memories I had seen so far yet it was also the most clear out of all of them.
I was underwater, deep underwater, I was so far down that I couldn't see any light making it nearly impossible to tell what was around me as all I could see was inky blackness. I don't know how long I floated there but eventually something changed, in front of me a large robotic eye suddenly appeared glowing a soft yet ominous light blue colour. With the new found lightsource I could some what make out what it was that was in front of me, and it was definitely not something I saw coming at all. It was a massive metal creature buried in to the sea floor...or would you call it a robot, I don't really know but anyway, it was gigantic, it had to have been at least two maybe three kilometres in size and that was just the part I could see. And what's worse is that it wasn't alone, hundreds if not thousands of similar glowing eyes appeared in the darkness all around me, some were much smaller while other dwarfed even the one that was in front of me.
And just like that it was over, I was back in the real world. I had long since let go of the Sixth who was currently switching on the floor.
(That...that was more then I was expecting...) I thought to myself as I looked down at the Sixth.
"{Just die}" I said with no sympathy at all as a black void appeared around my hand and suck the Sixth into it, of course this was not painless, not by a long shot. The Sixth's body compressed to the point that his bones cracked into dust and even his very cells ripped into pieces before being absorbed in an instant.

[Congratulations. The skill Rank Up has been acquired. (The user can increase the strength of subordinates, this process is similar to naming a monster just without any kind of physical evolution. Note, this skill not only drains a massive amount of energy but also can only be used once per being)]

[Congratulations. The skill Nightmare Curse has been acquired. (A curse that can cause nightmare like hallucinations in anyone it is inflicted on)]

"{It's over...yet I don't feel anything}" I noted after several seconds of silence.
There was no happiness, no satisfaction, all I felt was mental and physical exhaustion. I really wanted to collapse right there but I couldn't, not yet anyway. I still need to take down that fucking barrier and clean up the army of Parasites outside and what was left of the cult, oh and there is that whole thing about the Light spirits and weird ritual I have to deal with as well.
(D-damn it) I grumble to myself internally as I shook the exhaustion off to the best of my ability.
{I suggest that you quickly destroy the barrier around the island before you are forced to stop using me} that still sounds weird to me but I didn't comment.
"{Yeah...yeah I know}" I muttered back as I flapped my wings and shot through the roof into the open air outside.
"{Let's get this over with}"
