Chương 17: Second Gym Badge
Cerulean gym is a water type gym but ut is also the worst gym in present Kanto. The three sisters have totally changed this gym into a performance theater.
Sam went in the gym and found the three sisters backstage. Just as Sam was about to ask them for a gym match, the sisters saw him and said, "If you want autograph then please come in the evening."
Sam was stunned for a while and then reacted, "No I didn't came to get your autograph. I came to challenge you for a gym battle."
"Oh, so you came for a the gym badge. Let's quickly get over this as we have show in the afternoon." "As you wish" Sam replied.
"The rules are that all three of us sisters will use one pokemon each to battle and you can use upto three pokemons. If you can defeat our pokemons then it is your win otherwise you lose."
The first one to come was Lily and she sent a Goldeen. Sam said in his heart, 'System show Goldeen's stats.'

Sam threw a pokeball and an Exeggcute came out and landed on the platform floating in the water. Exeggcute has grown a lot in past few days and it has reached the bottleneck of beginner stage.

Sam gave an order to Exeggcute, " Fix the Goldeen in place using Psychic and then use Bullet Seed." Sam let Exeggcute learn Psychic using a TM in previous training and also told Exeggcute to fucus on launch speed of Bullet Seed and Leach Seed.
Exeggcute used Psychic and fixed Goldeen in place and then used continuous Bullet Seed. After eating 6-7 Bullet Seeds , Goldeen fainted without even a chance for Lily to give any order.
Then Violet came with a Seaking to battle. But the battle ended in the same way. Lastly Daisy directly admitted defeat and gave the Mist badge to Sam. Sam put the Mist badge in badge case and left the gym.
Next Sam planned to return to the Pallet town to take back Draceon and then go to Cinnabar Island to resurrect the fossils. Thus Sam went back the way he came till now.
It took Sam a week to return to Pallet town and both Charmeleon and Exeggcute grew up by 2 levels.

Sam went Professor Oak's lab first and took back Draceon from Professor Oak. Then he went his home and greeted his parents. They had lunch together and then Sam went to sleep.
Next day Sam left the home and went to Cinnabar Island on a ship. It will take 3 days to reach the Cinnabar Island. During these three days, Sam went on a fishing spree as he sat on the deck of the ship and kept capturing water pokemons.
He caught a lot of water pokemons present in Kanto such as Poliwag , Poliwhirl , Tentacool , Tentacruel , Shellder , Horsea , Seadra , Goldeen , Seaking , Staryu and Magicarp. He sent them all in the lake of the Small world.
The rest of the water type pokemons are normally available on the seashore thus Sam plans to catch them all upon reaching Cinnabar Island.
