Kayla did not think much of it until the terrifying shockwave collided with it. At that instant, surprisingly, there was no explosion, no sparks, and no fancy lights. The invisible sonic shockwave that almost spelled doom for everyone present seemed to simply sink into the phantom-like glow like a stone thrown into the ocean. 

Kayla, with the help of the system, could barely see traces of the attack still trapped inside that strange glow.
