Chương 87: Chapter 85

"That's impossible, no one can travel through time." She said, with a matter of fact tone. I look over, this is getting tiresome, so I make a portal to Patch in the future. "Go through that portal, and you'll know everything." I say, pointing towards the portal. She looks at me, then at the portal, and just stares. "Is that magic? How did you do that?" She asked, looking shocked. I just continue to point towards the portal, thinking she is slower then I anticipated.

She reluctantly walked towards the portal, while looking at me with a confused look. She finally walked through the portal, and I sigh, that was tiring. I walk after her, and when I arrive I close the portal. As I turn around, I see Summer looking at me. "Why is it night now, it was just daytime?" She asked, looking around the dark island. "Well this is ten years in the future, and Ruby should be back soon." I said, looking at my phone. I saw I got a text from Ruby, she just met Ozpin and annoyed both Ozpin and Glenda.

"Wait what? Why are we here, I need to go back." She shouts, looking at me with an angry look. "You can't go back, if I didn't go back in time, you wouldn't even be alive." I say, really starting to regret my decision. "Now you can either go and see your daughters or I can send you back to get killed by Salem. So which one?" I shout back. I really shouldn't have said that, I think the lack of mana is getting to me I think.

While Summer looks shocked at what I said, I start walking towards the house in the distance. This lack of mana is annoying, I'm changing the meeting to tomorrow. I reach the house and knock on the door, I hear Ruby shout that she would answer it. She opens the door and jumps at me. "Scarlet where did you go off to? Did you catch them criminals, or did you let them go?" She asked, very quickly. "Ruby calm down, oh and I have brought someone you'll want to meet." I said moving away from the door and pointing behind me.

I look and see Summer is standing there with a complex expression, the mother daughter pair just look at each other. "How is this possible, you died ten years ago." She said, looking at me who had a big grin. "Wait you didn't, but I thought you couldn't change what had happened?" She asked, with tears in her eyes. "There are loopholes in everything, and I just so happened to find one." I said, giving Ruby a push towards Summer. I watched as Ruby and Summer hug and I smile, so I leave them to find father-in-law.

I walk into the house, and immediately see Taiyang sitting at a table. "Ah hello there, are you a friend of Ruby's or Yang's?" He asked, with a smile. "I'm very close to Ruby, I'm Scarlet, it's good to finally meet you." I say, extending my hand, with a small evil smile. He didn't seem to notice my smile and takes my hand, I then throw him out the front door. I start walking out, I need to beat up someone, and he's the perfect target, plus I was gonna beat him up anyway. I walk pass Ruby and Summer, who are just looking at me. "Um Scarlet, why are you beating up my dad?" Ruby asked, as I pass by.

"Well I did say I was going to beat him, because he taught you and Yang very bad habits." I say, reaching Taiyang. I give him a kick and heal him, and keep that up until I see Yang and Velvet walking towards the house. "Where have you two been?" I asked, kicking Taiyang again. "Um I was just showing Velvet the island, why are you beating up dad?" Yang asked, confused. I see Velvet laughing and comes over to join in, but Yang grabbed her. "Hey I need to beat him too." Velvet said, looking at the heap on the ground.

"What the hell did Tai do?" Summer asked, looking at me and Velvet. "Mum is that you?" Yang said, just noticing her. I see the tears forming in her eyes, as she runs towards her. "Velvet can you explain why I'm doing this, and I'll let you beat up Qrow." I say, looking at her. She gives me a smile and nods, while walking towards them. I looked at the heap and smile. "Well do you know why this is happening?" I ask, healing him so he can talk. "No, I thought you were Ruby's friend?" He said, very pitifully. I kinda feel bad now, but then I remember how Ruby used to act and it faded.

"Well it's how you taught your daughters, and I know Qrow's involvement he will be punished as well." I said, with a smile. "But why would you mind what I taught the girls?" He ask, scurrying away from me. "Well I'm Ruby's fiancée that's why." I say, continuing my assault, for about an hour constantly healing him and beating him. I finish and heal him to full health, and hold out my hand. He reluctantly took it and flinched back.

"Don't worry that was it, you're lucky it was me and not Velvet. Poor Qrow is going to wish he wasn't born." I say, thinking of all the bad things Velvet will put Qrow through, I shudder at the thought. I walk back to the house with Taiyang and start talking to him. "Well now that's out the way, it's good to finally meet my future father-in-law. Oh and don't worry Ruby will explain everything, oh and there is one more thing you might not have noticed." I say, smiling with anticipation.
