The opening is great! We find out a ****y tiny bit of a background on how the two main characters ended up as beasts on Earth. We also get a hint that even though the master of faith was behind this misfortunate event, he isn't very proud or happy of what he has done. Very intriguing and entails a rather mysterious backstory. The writing quality is great. I usually steer away from 3rd person present narrative, but it fit well in this story and I didn't find myself being distracted by it at all. The descriptions are beautiful, almost poetic in a way and paints a vivid image as I read on. The two mc's are so cute, their chemistry is wholesome and I really enjoy the ******* between them. It keeps me on edge and wanting for more. :D Story development is carefully laid out and the world itself is surprisingly detailed. The author clearly put a lot of work and love into creating each scenery. I enjoyed it a lot. All in all, I really enjoyed this story, the plot moves in a steady pace and the characters are very charming in their own, sometimes slightly annoying/mischievous ways. (I'm looking at you, Wu Yun, stop flicking water in Lan Tian's face! Poor guy just wants to bathe in peace.) I recommend it to everyone who enjoys BL and Xianxia with an intriguing plot and mischievously adorable characters. I will certainly read on to find out where the story will lead the two. :)

I was fascinated by this novel from the beginning. The whole world is described with incredible detail and love, especially the sceneries, which are simply fantastic. You can easily imagine the most diverse situations and regions, despite how unrealistic they seem to be. Regarding the characters, I think the author has a unique trait since practically all of them (even those only mentioned in a few chapters) are valued and have their traits and development. Although many are annoying or hateful, they've their role and relevance in the story, which makes everything even more interesting. Still on the same topic, I want to give special emphasis to the MC and ML. Their personalities are contrasting and all the interactions are funny. It's beautiful to see their development, despite all the differences, and how they go from "travel companions" to "lovers". About the plot, I think it develops at a steady pace. There aren't big time skips or situations prolonged by hundreds of chapters without development, which allows you to appreciate the evolution of the characters and makes it easier to understand all the mysteries surrounding their world. I don't have a problem with the writing. It's good enough to get a smooth and fluid reading and it's very clear that the author is trying to improve with each chapter. Not to mention that I don't have the right to judge someone's writing with my bad English. In short, the novel is excellent and by far one of my favorites. I recommend it to everyone who likes BL and Xianxia. Besides, the author is very friendly and always interacts with his readers in the comments, which always encourages me to comment again.

Everything about this book is good. The plot is intriguing. The main characters are adorable. The first chapter of this book got me begging for more. If you are into a great plot and humor, this may just be for you. I recommend.

The writing quality is amazing - the story draws you in immediately with its fluid imagery and its steady pacing. We're taken into human world after a brief backstory (of which I'm eagerly anticipating) and if I'm to give an analogy, the fox and the dragon are like two grandpas trying to use modern smartphones for the first time. Their conjectures on human civilization are both amusing and headache-inducing on equal measures. I have not seen much grammar mistakes that detract my reading - which is wow, incredibly rare on this platform. It's very well-written and suitable for a fantasy-themed story! The dialogue flows just as well. The characters interact in a way that's not stiff. Their mannerisms and quirks are properly highlighted from their conversations with one another. I can tell apart who is speaking even without the annotations. I'd like to end this review by saying: I have decided to adopt Wu Yun as my chaotic child. He cannot be suppressed and poor Lan Tian is just going along for the ride, led astray by his contemptible ways (he's so lovable though I'm majorly conflicted). I also absolutely adore Jiang Tanmei, the haughty young master who is positively suffering by his antics.

Phodoodles

I'm not really fond of the wuxia genres since they overwhelm me, but this one is an exception! I enjoyed the occassional fluff and "banter" of the characters and the writing on this is seamless, the flor of the story is good too, not too stiff, not too casual, just right. (plus the touches of shounen ai on some chaps was well-timed too hahaha!) I haven't yet read up to current chap, but man, I'm already thoroughly entertained at chap 14. Will add this to my list since its really good.

I was instantly hooked on the novel after reading the first chapter. The MC, Wu Yun, is very humorous, childlike and quite funny at the same time. The ML, Lan Tian, has great chemistry with the MC. They started bickering about in a good way as soon as they meet each other, which was quite entertaining to read. The MC, a nine-tailed-fox and the ML, a dragon, were inexplicably transformed into human beings. They entered the human realm in order to find a way to recover their original bodies. The story itself is very plot intensive as we head into action straight away after a few chapters, so readers would never get bored. Overall a very exciting, humorous and lovely novel. 5 stars.
