[… The contract has been sealed.
The world is not as it should be,
It's filled with distortion,
and "ruin" can no longer be avoided,
Those who oppose fate and desire change…
From time to time, they were referred to as Tricksters.
You are the Trickster…
Now is the time to rise against the abyss of distortion.]

He groaned as he finally found his new place of residence in the Yongen-Jaya Backstreets. With a glare at the sign that read; coffee and curry Leblanc, he calmed him. He couldn't afford to get into any incidents while he was under parole. Well in truth it didn't actually matter, because if he did he'd just slip out of Tokyo to avoid jail time.
With the most apathetic face he could muster he entered the Cafe. Unfortunately his face almost immediately cracked, a smile threatening to rise as he listened to the news.
"A public transit bus was driven down an opposing lane with its customers still in it! The citizens can't live in peace if this keeps up."
He tuned out the Tabloid Show Host as he listened to the two elderly customers inside the Cafe.
"How frightening," the old man sighed.
Beside him the elderly woman gasped,
"What could be going on? Didn't something similar happen just the other day?"
Looking away from them he focused on the mumblings of the Cafés manager, "And down is... the name of a shellfish used in pearl farming..."
He felt a bit disappointed when the man seemed to take notice of him. "Oh right... They did say that was today."
Before the man could continue the elderly couple sat up and bid their farewells due to their worries of getting caught in an accident.
The manager sighed as he complained, "four hours for just a single cup of joe."
Turning the man looked at him and sighed again, "so you're the guy..."
"Please take care of me," He had to curb the smirk trying to make its way to his face as he replied, but the man seemed to have noticed and merely gazed sharply at him for a moment before continuing,
"I'm Sojiro Sakura. You'll be in my custody over the next year. I was wondering what kind of unruly kid would show up, but you're the one, huh?"
The man groaned, "Have you been told? A customer of mine and your parents know each other and- Well, not that that matters... Follow me."
He nodded and followed the older man to the shops back taking in the view of the messy room full of boxes collecting dust.
"This is your room."
He fought the smile trying to take shape on his face.
"I'll at least give you sheets for your bed. Hm. You look like you wanna say something."
"Indeed it's quite big."
The man looked at him as if he expected him to complain, "it's on you to clean up the rest. I'll be leaving after I lock up each day. You'll be alone at night, but don't do anything stupid. I'll throw you out if you cause any trouble."
He nodded in understanding.
"Now then... I got the gist of your situation. You protected some woman from a man forcing himself on her, he got injured, then sued you. Right?"
He couldn't help but role his eyes.
"That's what you get for sticking your nose in a matter between two adults. You did injure him, yeah? And now that you've got a criminal record, you were expelled from your high school."
He couldn't help it as the smirk rose on his face startling the man; he only JUST got an official criminal record, there had been a lot he was never caught for.
"The courts ordered you to transfer and move out here, which your parents also approved. In other words, they got rid of you for being a pain in the ass."
He only offered a smile to show his acceptance of the man's words.
"It's best you not talk about anything unnecessary. I am in the restaurant business, you know. Behave yourself for the year. If nothing happens, your probation will be lifted."
He sighed. "A whole year huh..."
The man became stern, "Cause any problems, and you'll be be sent straight to juvie. Anyways we'll be going to Shujin tomorrow."
He nodded, "the academy right, my new school?"
Sojiro nodded and complaining about wasting his Sunday before leaving.
As the man left a crazy smirk made its way to his face, "I'm going to enjoy living here. Now let's see I should start cleaning."
