a person carrying the burden of the past will never be able to rise

"Xiaoruo, I am always with you. Even if no one wants you I am there for you. We both can stay together. So don't think of dying. I love you Xiaoruo"

As soon as she picked up the phone she can hear the other person shouting so loudly that she had to keep the phone at one hand distance and still the voice coming from the other end was clear.

The caller was Liu Yifei, Zhi Ruo's classmate and best friend. She was a transfer student from abroad and had started schooling just 5 years ago. Because there was a considerable difference in the education system and also feifei was weak in languages she used to help feifei in them slowly making them into best friends. The only problem with Yifei was that she would overreact to everything. Zhi Ruo was sure that she saw the news and might have searched online what are the general actions of people who go through a breakup. Instead of considering the best outcome, she would have of course thought of the worst outcome that I might try to end my life. Thus causing her to panic.

"Hello, ruoruo are you ok? If you don't answer I will call brother Xin." Yifei asked after not receiving an answer from Zhi Ruo

" Yes feifei, I am fine and I am not upset. Youcan stop overreacting now" Zhi Ruo tried to calm her down.

Before Yifei could speak Zhi Ruo added:

" I know you won't be fine if you can't see me, so let's meet up for snacks in the evening. It would be not possible for me to go out of the house so how about if you can come to my house?

I will make your favorite pancakes as well"

After some more talking Zhiruo was able to convince her friend to come out for snacks and then they can talk about details. With her years of experience, she knew that how much ever she tries to convince yifei she won't be fine without meeting her and might again pass out with stress. Yifei's parents' business was mainly dealing with exports and imports causing them to always travel to different countries. This when she grew up her parents decided for her to stay with her grandparents so as to grow in a stable environment.

After the call was done Zhi Ruo was about to go in the kitchen to inform the maid and mother Zhi about snacks and guests in the evening. When she opened the door to go out of the room she crashed with mother Zhi. Looking at her wrinkled face Zhi Ruo apologized and asked if she needed something from her?

When mother Zhi nodded, Zhi Ruo asked her to enter the room. Sitting on the edge of the bed Mother Zhi patted the space beside her. Understanding mother Zhi's gesture Zhi Ruo sat down beside mother Zhi. Taking Zhi Ruo's both hands in her hand's mother Zhi spoke:

" When I and your father decided to get married I expected you to throw a tantrum.....

But you agreed.

When I came into this house as your mother I expected you to resent me, hate me.....

But you accepted me, welcomed me.

Till today you never went against me,

Even today when your father asked you to change the groom I expected you to question our decision...

But you smiled and accepted."
