Chương 22: Bewitched

"General Lin? How can that be!" Lin Xiaofei gasped and looked so shocked that her face became pale.

She clutched her mouth with her hand and her eyes contained an unconcealed shock and anger.

Seeing this, Ke Song rushed to add more fuel to the fire, "I was even escorted here by a servant. Who else would have more freedom in the Lin residence if not General Lin?"

'Oh? It seems he practiced a lot to say those words.' Lin Xiaofei thought. However, her expression didn't change and she still looked like she was very shocked by what he had just said.

As she was thinking, Ke Song was also cursing in his heart as he waited for a chance to reverse his situation. 'That's right! Keep on distressing about this and lower your guard! I'll make you pay for this and do things you will never imagine being done to a woman!'

He was born in the brothel house and knew how things work in the lowest-ranked brothels.

When a woman was sold to the 9th rank brothels, they would be forced to work all day and all night with different guests to earn what they eat. Their pay was also very small that they could only eat twice a day and will need to work again after eating.

They didn't have the luxury to rest or else, they would be beaten by the brothel manager and worst, they would be sold to a bandit where they would rather take their own lives rather than serve these cur and ruthless bandits.

And Ke Song heard a few more unsightly vile ways to make a woman from a 9th rank brothel suffer when they did a mistake.

With his vast knowledge in this matter, Ke Song might have not done it in the past but he surely wouldn't let this chance to use those tortures to punish the woman who blinded one of his eyes.

Ke Song was about to say more but then when he raised his eyes to look at her devastated expression, he was suddenly doused with cold water as he saw her apathetic indifference on her face -- it was extremely bewitching.

Her eyes, which were the most beautiful almond-shaped hazel eyes, curved slightly as it contained her ridicule and glowed ever so lightly, making her peerless face even more alluring to look at.

However, when one looks deeper into those eyes, one would only see bottomless darkness and emptiness that Ke Song had the premonition that he has already lost in this game.

Ke Song subconsciously shivered and abruptly used all of his strength to push Lin Xiaofei away, not because he wanted to start his evil intention to her, but to run away.

The more he looked at her beautiful face, the more Ke Song saw the Yama smiling down at him as death approaches him.

Squandering like a madman, Ke Song screamed, "No! No!" He crawls away and shouts, "Help me!"

After being pushed, Lin Xiaofei's back hit the corner of the bed and was extremely shocked at his strange behavior like he had just seen a ghost in her place.

She frowned and saw Ke Song crawling like a maggot on the ground and was trying to get away as he pointed at her, "M-monster! Get away from me!"

He was still bleeding from his eye that had the buyao still sticking out from it, while he had little clothes to cover his body. He had a very nice body, however, Lin Xiaofei was no budding beauty that a single sight of a naked man, she would cover her eyes and blush.

Besides, that kind of body was not to her taste, and possibly, the only woman who would drool over him was some older females who had a strange taste in men.

Fine beads of sweat fell on Ke Song's as he continued to crawl backward, his screams were loud and sounded like a pig about to be butchered as he was about to reach the door.

He was about to open it and escape but then, he heard Lin Xiaofei speaking behind him.

"Shut up. If someone were to hear us and come here..." Sighing, Lin Xiaofei was disgusted with him and menacingly added, "I won't be able to promise you will be able to live to see the day."

Hearing this, Ke Song almost immediately shut his mouth. He couldn't understand why his body was listening to her but because of his wound, he was unable to think properly.

The pain in his left eye was blurring his vision and thoughts. His decision making was a mess.

He was just a foot away from the door and if he walks a few steps, he would then be at the doorway where he would be able to get out of this courtyard containing a horrific young lady.

Determination suddenly shoots up within himself and Ke Song moved, however, he was unable to finish his action and before he knew it, he saw the chair approaching his face so fast that he couldn't cover his head nor he could react to this.

And the last thing he heard before darkness devouring his vision was, "Sleep first. Don't worry, I'll take care of you."

The sound of a heavy mass falling on the ground was soon heard as Ke Song fell limply on the ground.

After Lin Xiaofei smashed the chair near her bed to Ke Song's head, she heaved a tired pant as she dusted her hands and coldly said, "Alright, what to do next?"
