Chương 11: Is That All It Was?
"What"
"..I'm just joking luv, you don't need to do that."
But that didn't sound so bad. Which is why I was surprised. Why not, if I want to I might as well. Before he could say anything I stared right at him and said,
"okay."
And before he could say anything I pressed my lips to his mimicking the only knowledge I had of doing this sort of thing.
It felt warm, and his lips were soft. I wanted to kiss him longer, so I didn't separate from him and initiated another kiss. I opened my eyes to see his surprised red tinted face. His eyes were the only thing that didn't match. His blue eyes looked on fire. I then decided I should pull away.
"Okay that was my first so did I do it rig—" Before I could finish he pulled me back to him again and whispered in my ear.
"Not nearly enough." And then he pushed his lips on mine again but this was harder than mine. Next thing I knew my lips were parting and his tongue was in my mouth. I don't know what I was thinking but I then pressed my tongue while returning his hard kiss. His hands were on my waist moving up.
"Ahh" I made a weird sound.
For some reason that made him groan and kiss me harder again.
I needed to separate, what was wrong with me. I gently pushed back from him breathing hard.
"Wait, ..let..let's stop." I said while looking up at him.
He then put his hand on my cheek and cupped it. It felt so warm.
"No one else makes me feel this way." He said while smiling and looking into my eyes. "At this point I don't think I need to know who you are, either way I know what I want from you. You can't tease me like this or next time I might not be able to control myself."
I shivered again. What was this feeling? Why wasn't I more guarded against him?

Adria's POV
Next thing I know I'm jolting up and panting hard. I look around to see everyone sleeping… except Daxton who now looks at my eyes with an emotion I can't identify. Weren't we just… kissing? Wait.Oh.Damn.just a dream. It was all only a dream. I suddenly remember the strange gaze I am getting from Daxton and hope I didn't say anything in my sleep about my dream.I think about not using my aura power because I don't want to be invasive of his feelings, but it's good practice and I won't know what the color means anyway. So I turn it on.
Red. That's a new color. Yup don't know what that one means.
"Aah mea" Daxton clears his throat
"I'm going to go check around outside to check the area." He says as he scurries off.
"Damn" I curse under my breath. I must have said something weird. Fuck! I hope I wasn't making that weird sound out loud!? Daxton looked like he just woke up. I hope I didn't wake him up with that!!
I slowly get up deciding I have bigger things to worry about. Right as I am Daxton comes back looking calmer. Does he really have wings? Well of course he does, how else would we get in a cave on a clif?! But that is real while what happened between us was a dream? I don't know anymore.
"Hey we got to go, luv sunrise is coming up and we don't want to waste daylight." Dayton announces.
O and Em are still sleeping around the fire and I hurriedly wake them.
"Birdie.too.early" yawns Em as she glares at me.
I refused to even respond so I was forced to carry him on my back while he slept.
We walk out of the cave and met with Daxton.
"Alright let's head out" He stated.
