When Victor caught sight of Allan's face in the picture, his face lit up even brighter. He even bit his lips before he took the picture from his mother's hands.
"It's Allan, why?"
"What do you mean, why?! How do you know him?"
Mrs. Arevalo's voice raised in a threatening manner, as though she was just stopping herself from slapping her son in front of the strangers.
"Nothing."
Victor replied simply but his mother's face alone told him that she would not take it as simple as that if he would not explain himself and convinced her otherwise.
"He was a bystander living within the dumpsite. I met him in the orphanage last summer because there is where he frequently goes. I decided that since he was just only idling by most of the time, he was better off helping us out during the deliveries. "
"Do you pay him?"
