The girl wanted to run away but she was constantly reminding herself that it was an important event for her parents and she needed to behave with all the guests including the clingy guy Richard!
"You look hot! Did you ask my mom what color I am wearing?" He winked encircling his arms around the girl's waist.
"Ahhh! No actually. It is just a coincidence." The girl walked a little faster, trying to make him loose the grip from her waist.
"You look lovely by the way!" He smiled, and complimented again thinking the girl did not hear it the first time and was also walking rapidly still holding her waist.
"Thabk you! If you could please excuse me, I should be now helping mom, in arranging the gifts for the orphanage kids." She nodded politely, looking at him directly, making sure she does not sound rude. Richard stepped a little closer to her face, surprising her a bit.
Just then from her left several flashes appeared and the akward moment was caught on the camera. The girl was looking at his face, turned towards him, while he had encircled his arm around her waist.

The moment was captured and Eva excused herself and quickly walked upto her mother, feeling a bit irritated once again. "Relax Eva! Relax! This is just the last day. Tomorrow you will be out of all this."
She sighed walking rapidly when a group of girls caught her attention and she smiled waving at them.
"Hi everyone." She spoke ecstatically walking towards the girls.
"Oooh Eva you look gorgeous." Spoke a blonde girl dressed in a peach dress.
"Eva! What a stunning dress." Another girl complimented.
"I am sure it must be a limited collection." Another girl spoke admiringly.
Eva smiled accepting the compliments gracefully. "Thank you guys, you all look lovely too." She smiled looking at her college friends Olive, Miley and Lia.
Eva had manitained a good social circle, owing to her parent's reputation. Her parents had worked very hard to uphold the social and financial status of the family started by Eva's grandparents and she also tried to do so, even if it meant having a few fake friends and fake smiles.
"If you could excuse me guys. I have to help mom and grandmother." Eva smiled and walked past them and the girls looked at Eva with envy in their eyes.
"Her dress must be costing atleast 5000 dollars." Spoke the same girl who had just complimented her dress.
"I would have looked more gorgeous, if I could afford it. She does not even deserve to wear these costly clothes." Spoke the girl who had praised Eva for her pretty looks.
"Hmmm.. true. Anybody could look good in it." The third girl nodded in a 'yes.'
