Prince Devon sat on the hill and closed his eyes. The wind rushed through his hair felt cool to his skin. So much that he compared it to his heart. When he opened his eyes, he could see two figures from a distance. The two were standing next to each other, the other one holding the bow steady, and the other was aiming it at a hay dummy.
He took a deep breath and reached for his bow and arrow. Stretching the bowstring until he could kiss his thumb, he eyed the target. Then…
*Swoosh.
The arrow flew madly into the air.
Yrah smirked as she saw the arrow coming in from behind them. Her hand tightened around Eiron's wrist. She was standing behind him due to the reason that she was teaching him archery. She whispered to his ear, "When I say 'shoot', let go, alright?"
Eiron felt the hairs behind his neck raise as her warm breath tickled him behind his ear. The other archers who were with them felt awkward seeing the two so close to each other.
