The Black Gem Palace had its own kind of shine and dark charm as the demons stare in awe at its magnificence. This is the first time for most of Lucien's army to see the rumored palace of the demon generals. When they all moved into the palace, they saw black the black pillars with inlaid black and blue gems glistening. 'Soul stones' that were considered rare and prized for having souls trapped in them were just decoration in the palace. A low-ranked demon smelled the soul stones. It was about to pluck out a stone when it felt a chill on his back.

"One stone, one life," the warning came from Azimuth who was Lucien's, right-hand man. The low-ranked demon then scurried off into the shadows and no one touched another soul stone in the pillars and doors.
