Scattered all over the path were bright, pink and pale, yellow rose petals. Calder looked down at the bush then back to the path. Instantly his shoulders slumped downwards as he groaned loudly and moved his gaze back to the bush. "I didn't think it through." He said pathetically. "Honestly what were you hoping for?" Syria asked as she held out her hand. "Nothing in particular." Calder replied.
He raised his gaze to her hand and smiled. He placed his hand into hers and felt a rush of electricity run through his veins. "Come on." Syria said as she gently tugged Calder forward and out of the bush. She gave him a one over as he raised his hand and gently brushed a lock of hair behind her ear.
