Amelia blinked, "hmmmm, a little more sleepy and a little stuffy in the chest. I didn't think anything of it. I think the fever hit just this morning. Everything was warm, so I went outside to cool down. Sorry for freaking you out. I haven't coughed like that in a while." Rubbing her cheek to Gabriel's hand, she sighs. "Your hand is so cool. It feels nice."
Gabriel let her snuggle his hand and watched her. "The coughing worries me the most. I fed you some medication, and it will help bring the fever down and suppress the cough. Inari and Father said that the babies are safe." Gabriel rubs the baby bump and smiles.
"You scared me, Amelia. I am glad that it was not all that bad, but now I know why Mother wanted me here. Gabriel, you have human needs you have to take care of. I will stay by her side." Inari patted Gabriel's knee and Amelia's belly.
“My love affair with nature is so deep that I am not satisfied with being a mere onlooker, or nature tourist. I crave a more real and meaningful relationship. The spicy teas and tasty delicacies I prepare from wild ingredients are the bread and wine in which I have communion and fellowship with nature, and with the Author of that nature.”
