Chương 18: Fighting a level ten beast!!
At night in a forest full of big trees, we can see a boy moving very fast on trees, the boy was wearing Anbu clothing but without a mask, his red eyes were glowing in dark....it looked as if the pair of eyes were searching for its prey.
Of course he was none other than Luke, currently he was going towards the tortoise cave as he knew that at this time the tortoise would go inside his cave to rest, and this was the right time to ambush it, while it guard was down.
Few minutes later he reached the outer peripheral of the cave.
He then used Shunshin no jutsu ( body flicker technique) and appeared just before the cave entrance, without delaying he quickly formed hand signs and in seconds launched his attack.
"Katon: Karyuu Endan (Fire Release: Fire Dragon Blast)"
He then blowed forth a stream of fire from his mouth which quickly engulfed the cave in flames, due to its abilities to strike from the left, right, and directly in front at the same time. The flame was more or less conically shaped, and he could directly move his head to aim, it's similar to a large flamethrower.
The heat coming from it was very high as it concentrated the heat in one direction and was very destructive. The chakra needed for this jutsu is a lot....but since he reached kage level he was able to continue it for a while, without losing much chakra as he had good chakra control 10 tak table.....after firing for a while he stopped and jumped back from the cave then waited for the beast to come out as he knew the beast won't be defeated that easily since it had high defence, he didn't continue firing as he had already used one third of his chakra and he needed to be sure if the beast was getting injured or not, otherwise it'll only be a waste of chakra.
*Thump* *Thump*
With heavy foot steps that almost shook the earth a big tortoise of around ten feet in height and eight feet wide came out of the cave, it back was bleeding and had a large burned injury, there were also burnt marks all over its body, and had various injuries on its body too.
When the tortoise saw Luke it roared loudly as he was in a lot of pain and was very angry.
Without any delay it attacked him, he stomped both of his feets on ground and suddenly the ground shook and started to rise, the whole area got covered in small mountains of height between six to fifteen feets, Luke was prepared and jumped as just beneath him sharp ground rose up, while he was in air....the tortoise made it's second attack and the rocks on its body glowed then all the rocks of Different sizes on ground rose up rushed towards Luke when he saw he Dodged the incoming rock barrage but it kept on following him, he then turned around and quickly formed hand seal, "Katon: Kita no Jutsu (Fire Release: Aerial Explosion Technique)"
Then gas was released into air, it was colourless, odourless and was non detectable if the person didn't have very high senses only the person with very high senses can detect it, the gas quickly expanded through out and then Luke ignited it then with loud sound the whole area exploded, even tho it wasn't that powerful but it could still give first degree burns, the rocks which were following Luke were blasted and the explosion covered an entire area of twenty feets, the tortoise also suffered from this, Luke had already jumped on a tree branch and looked towards the tortoise.
"Man this thing sure is quick to attack even though it's agility is slow, It can execute the attacks very fast and can even control the rocks that it fires, man and this the weakest of the level ten beast which I found, how strong would the strongest one be, let's first kill this one then will think about others."
When the fire subsided the tortoise was on ground bleeding a lot from all over his Body, he was trying to move his head to look around for the person who attacked him, but he couldn't see clearly as his eyesight was already weak in dark, and beacuse of heavy blood loss....it got even worse.
Suddenly Luke appeared above his head, his left hand was covered in lightning.
"Chidori" he said and pierced the head of the Tortoise, the already slow tortoise couldn't react to this and his head got pierced.
*Roaaarrrrrr* it screamed loudly unwilling to die, but just few seconds later it closed its eyes, and stopped breathing finally it was dead.
[ You have killed Rock Tortoise, a level ten beast core have been recovered.
10,000 SP for killing it.
Secondary Quest complete!!
Reward have been awarded.
15,000 SP and Toad summoning Scroll have been awarded. ]
Just after killing the beast various system notification appeared in Luke mind.
*Huff* *Huff*
Luke was also breathing heavily as he lost quite a bit of chakra in fighting this beast, and sat down on the ground.
"Damn just a level ten beast and it took me this much energy to kill it, I need to train more harder."
He resolutely decided.
Then he stored the beast core inside his inventory and went to check the cave of the Beast, but he quickly came out with his head down and sighed " Well I cant be always lucky, there's nothing inside the cave and most of the thing are burned." He said and started to run back towards his shelter.
"Alright let's go, now it's time to buy mangekyo...hahahaha finally I will get it" even though he was tired after the fight, it all vanished when he remembered about the mangekyo sharingan which he was going to buy.
