Chương 127: Monologuing

As soon as Roman made that eye contact with Lillian, Jasmine could feel something terribly wrong from her gut.

She looked around the place but isn't able to pinpoint it as a burst of magic surrounded the place and entrapped Lillian in that spot as a barrier burst out of the ground and reached as high as the sky. 

People began to scream and run away as they saw this happening. There was panic all around but Jasmine was busy trying to restrain Roman from jumping in there to pull Lillian out of it as she collapsed to the ground.

"Your highness, not now."

"I can pull her out, just give me a second." He said, trying to fight her but she wrapped him with her threads. Now isn't the time to be discrete at the moment. "Let me go."

"Please pardon me for this, your majesty." She said, looking around the crowd of people pushing against each other as the gates to the palace courtyard closed. The people out of the gate were fine but not the ones inside.
