Jasmine entered in through the door and began to look around. She was surprised by his room at first because it is nothing like she expected it to be like. It was too simple to be a court magician's room. Especially regarding that, there are no books of spells or anything like that there.
Not that he needs magic, she just thought that they would have those as a mandatory aesthetic of the court magician.
There is only a bed at the centre of the room and one wooden table overlooking the outside world of them and the people out there. Time seems to have passed very differently here, a little faster than most, perhaps. But that could just be her imagination.
Looking out the window, she can see that most of the people there are still very busy with the distribution of anything and she can smell the food all the way from there. The king ordered that the cooks make food enough to feed everyone in the town so that is what the smell is.
And many hijinks ensue.
