Chương 86: Carriage Talk

They passed the field behind Madam Lesh's house and also the forest where Lillian stayed in. It stood there, amidst all the trees like a little sign of comfort. 

"What about the people in the village?" Lillian asked, trying to stop her mind from wondering. "Not everyone went right?" 

"That is what I am wondering about as well." Ray said, stroking his chin, "If they think it is an attack, shouldn't they be more focused on creating a barrier or improving the defence system?" 

"That is what I am thinking too." Vaille said, "I will have to ask father what he's thinking about when we meet him."

"But what about the people?" Lillian asked, looking out the window with worry. "Wait, Jasmine." 

She waved her hand and created a mirror just like the one they used to communicate with before and called her. 

"Please be careful, Lillian." Ray said, whispering to her, "You are still suspicious. Don't use your magic however you wish."
