Inside a office the chancellor of the republic was thinking over his plans and what the wild card of the Remnant system would do.
Suddenly the bell for the door rings.
"Come in come in." Palpatine says
"Sir we found the system." A clone guard says
"So you say. I honestly thought they were outside of the galaxy having disappeared for as long as they did. Send a jedi to go talk with them. From what rumors I have heard they have a standing army and would be able to help us." Palpatine says
The clone salutes before leaving the office.
The Sith smiles happily pressing the button to contact Dooku. The Remnant system needed to fall.

'Weiss had done it again.' Kyra thinks to herself.
She may no longer be president however she wants to help her father in law until his term ends in a few months. Supposedly he's done running after 2 terms and 8 years of his presidency.
"A plasma shotgun… that's actually insane." Kyra mutters.
Sure the army used conventional weapons but that's because it's reliable and cheaper. Many of the republic and confederate weapons ran off of blaster gas which had to be mined from specific gas giants. Which remnant's system did not have one of them again the range on the blasters was sub optimal compared to true laser weapons. Then considering it doesn't shoot at the speed of light makes it even less useful compared to the old laser rifle she made back during her time at Beacon.

Meanwhile at the Reach ship yard the final Infinity class was being launched.
The new Enterprise the second space ship to bare the name after the space shuttle.
"Captain?" Asks the ships Ai
"Yes Ghost?" Enterprise asks
"Are you still upset about Halsey retiring and leaving you to command the ship and crew?" Ghost asks
"I just feel like others were passed up because I was here." Enterprise says
"You are one of the most experienced naval officers we have. Don't sell yourself short." Ghost says
Enterprise nods before looking over the plan for the shake down cruise.
"This takes us a bit close to the border of the neighboring system doesn't it?" Enterprise asks
"Yes but when the other system is empty there's no one to contest us being there." Ghost says
"Isn't this the system full of the nuclear space mines that Barb dropped?" Enterprise asks
"It was… our job is to mostly survey the damage." Ghost says
"It's good enough for a shakedown." Enterprise says
"Crew arrives in 2 days, after the fitting out." Ghost says

Taylor awoke in a hospital bed. Autumn lying beside her.
"Aaaa." Taylor says taking a breath.
"You're awake?" A voice says
Taylor looks up to see a blond haired woman.
"You are?" Taylor asks
"I'm Yang. One of Autumn's mothers." Yang says introducing herself.
"Where are we?" Taylor asks
"Autumn's home. On a different world. In truth we picked up a lot of refugees from your earth." Yang says
"Does that happened often?" Taylor asks
"Enough for us to have settled refugee colonies on other planets in system." Yang says
"How does that work?" Taylor asks
"Each country sets up on the planet. Then whenever we encounter people from an alternate of that country they have an option to go there or stay here." Yang says
"You gave away two planets?" Taylor asks in wonder
"We have slipspace travel. And are able to transverse the galaxy. A few planets don't mean as much as loyal allies do." Yang says
"The wars back on earth seem silly now." Taylor says
"They always do. However people need to stand up for what's right." Yang says
