Chương 3: Lucky In Love
'I calmed down, and seeing it was the king I do not think I had an option.'
"Well, my home if very far away I don't want to trouble you"
"I'll ride on my horse, we will follow right behind you."
'The King calmly called to his men, gave his order, got on his horse and started following'
Of Course he did not tell all his men to come along, he simply brought the worst of all to my home
Earl Of Warwick.
"Wow what a home" Does he ever shut up, I simply want my boys land back.
My mother walks out of her home to see the King and The Earl Of Warwick on their horses waiting to be invited in.
"Cousin, go back to the rest of the men. I'll get it myself"
"Would you like to come in?" My mother did not just ask The King to come into our home, When I can just simply go write my letter and bring it back.
"I'd Love too"
"We also have some wine, would you like some?"
"How could I say no to wine" Father will not be happy, everyone knows about Edward and his history with woman. He already has a bastard Child with another woman. Father will only assume The King has taken interest into me, and so will my brothers.
As soon as we walked in my mother started pouring the wine into 3 glasses. Seeing how The King was staring at me she made an excuse to leave the room. Me and The King were left alone in the room. He sat down at the Table, the chair in the far end.
"Sit" It was an order, so I did as I was told.
"You know your very beautiful"
"Well I can not deny it if the King believes so" Elizabeth Blushed at the kings remark...
"I'd be surprised if no one has never told you that, your indeed the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on" Is he flirting with me
"How are you happy here, with your father and mother?"
"Don't get me wrong I love my parents, but I'm use to running my own lands and household. My sons will have nothing if I can't reclaim them."
"Too many have suffered during these wars, if I can keep my crown I will see the law of England run from one coast to the other, we will all be English-"
"I wish for nothing more than that my sons will never fight, do you think it possible?"
"There must be one more battle, Henry has regained his wits for now at least. I will try and keep it from your doorway" This man is extraordinary, so confident...
"You are very confident you will win"
This woman sure is something else
"I am quick, I am brave, and I am Lucky. I am just as lucky in battle as I am in love."
I barely met the man, and I'm going crazy. Sadly no king would marry a peasant like me.
But, as we stood we got closer and closer with every step. The King could've kissed me right had my father not walked in.
"What Is happening in here." My Father and 3 brothers had walked into the room where me and Edward were standing inches apart from each other.
"Your Grace, This is my father and my brothers."
"Nice to meet you" My dad gave me a look that said 'What did you get yourself into' My mother had attempted to stop them from entering the room but she failed as you can see.
" I shall go write down the lands I spoke about" My father stood giving the King, a stare I didn't recognize. My brother Antony was specifically looking at me.
"Elizabeth can you take me to go see the gardens" I turned to look him in the eye...
"The air is tight in here, I just would like some fresh air" Noticing out of the corner of my eye the looks the men in my family were giving the man next to me. Yes I know they only want the best for me, but It's the King he could have them executed in only 1 snap.
