Kate smiled, "You're so diligent, Pearson. There are not many boys who can work as well as you nowadays."
Albert smiled, "I'm flattered... I have nothing to do right now anyway. I'll help you clean up."
Sophia didn't want to bother him and wanted to say no, but Kate had spoken, "Well, thanks. I'll go shopping when I pack up and treat you to dinner tonight."
Albert kept nodding, "That's great. I'm worried about dinner now. Then I can have a taste of your cooking."
Kate smiled, "My cooking is so-so. I hope you like it."
Sophia was packing in silence, and there was no room for her to interrupt when the two were talking.
Kate asked, "What do you do, Mr. Pearson?"
Albert helped unpack the cartons and said, "I do business, all kinds of business."
Kate asked again, "Did you earn your house?"
Albert nodded, "Yeah."
Kate praised him, "Most young people depend on their parents to buy a house. You're quite capable, Mr. Pearson."
