I was gripping my side as tight as I could as I ran through the woods. The pain was immense at first, but for some reason it has dulled since I started running. I looked down and could see something that should be INSIDE of me peeking through my fingers to the OUTSIDE. 𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩? 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺.
Snarf had hit me hard and fast, and without my zombie meat shields to keep it busy I didn't last long. It was able to tear through the Snarf hide I was wearing like tissue paper. I guess its claws are harder than its hide. I'm definitely screwed here.
Some might wonder why I didn't just start casting spells. Well there is a simple reason, there was a GIGANTIC FUCKEN SNARF ATTACKING ME. I was lucky to pull back enough to not get bisected when it lunged at me.
The phenomenon that slows my perception of time did kick in, unfortunately all that did was let me know how totally fucked I was for a painfully long amount of time. While I could see it coming, my body was not able to move fast enough. After it hit me all I could think of was to keep my insides in and run away as fast as I could from that clearing.
Snarf seemed to be taking its time to stalk me, like some lazy ass killer with a hockey mask. I guess that is a small gift, I can die a little slower now, how kind of it.
I have no idea how I got here or what happened after the room went white, all I know is I have a furry killing machine behind me. My mind is blurring and I have no fucken idea what to do. Panic is definitely starting to set in.
Before I was standing from afar with a meat shield and that seemed to make it less .... real. It let me analyze the situation without much risk and made me feel far stronger than I actually am. Now though, with only me and that thing, all I could think of was to run. Run the fuck away from it with all might, but my might seemed to be waning.... 𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛!
I tripped on a fallen branch and tumbled over. My hand let go of my side... 𝘢𝘩𝘩𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦! My vision is starting to narrow... 𝘐 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘩?
*Cough*
"I fucken hate you"
*Cough*
"Snarf"
At this point in a game I would chug a healing potion, but I don't have one of those. My sense of fear is slowly being replaced by anger as I near my death. My anger at being killed by a perverted Dragon's offspring that resembles the most useless and annoying character ever to grace cartoons. I just want another chance, this time I won't run, I'll fight until I die.
Suddenly I see a lot of white in my narrowing vision. It looks to be a couple of rabbits. I have an idea....this is my only shot. I'm sorry cute rabbits, but I need you to trade with me.
"Drain"
*Cough*
"Drain Life"
I feel the warmth hit me again. My vision returns a bit. I look and can now see there are three rabbits in front me. They look like they are being mummified. I'm not sure but I could of sworn I heard them scream for a second there.............definitely my imagination. For the sake of my fleeting sanity that is what I'm going with.
As the process completed and they dropped dead I looked down to see my wound had mostly recovered. There was a massive gash there now, but my innards were no longer sticking out anymore at least.
Before I could breathe out a sigh of relief I heard branches snapping as something large stalked toward me. I was still in deep shit. I wasn't dying anymore for the moment, but I still was completely exposed. I need a meat shield, but I don't have any human corpses....do they have to be human? I look at rabbits....𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦! 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘤𝘰 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘺.............𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘴.
"Arise and serve me"
Their bodies shake and their eyes fill with inky darkness as the rabbits get up. For some reason I was able to get all three to reanimate. 𝘐𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯? No, that is a mystery I'll deal with if I am still alive in a few minutes.
I point my finger at my most hated enemy as it saunters through the forest. I release all my pent up anger and yell at the top of my voice hoping it will reinforce my resolve.
"MY ARMY OF FURRIES! FUCKEN KILL THAT THING!"
