It has been one year since mother left us and we manage to stabilize Katarina's mental health for at least eight months and she starting reading books since we been taught writing and reading earlier by our mother.

Now, most of Katarina's past times is reading different types of books and tries to solve the different puzzle I made. Starting today, The Spirit Rulers will train us based on our personalities first like Katarina going to learn basic magic first while I train in physical training and spirit magic.

They might saw me using spirit magic a few times during my past self-training because I didn't even aware of my surroundings since I, myself are focused on my training. The Spirit Rulers has also specialized in their support-oriented classes like Gnome is a master blacksmith, Dryad is a Master Alchemist, and Undine is a master Chemist. Other spirit rulers that don't have specialized support jobs but they are the best at battle-oriented classes based on their elements.

Anyway, they already know that I started self-training in the past and let me do it and given me different books of different styles and forms of every weapon. They also taught me spirit magic since I'm compatible from the start when I tried to copy their magic in the beginning. When Katarina's mental health stabilized, she will go where I am located and hug me then starting to cry for a few minutes to hours.

I'm currently reading a magic theory book inside the office/library sitting at the beach also training my mana control, while Katarina sitting beside me also reading a random book with piles of books beside her that might already finish or yet to read. We are sitting there for about two to three hours with three magic theory book while writing my contradiction about that theory with my knowledge on a notebook using mana as ink and pen as my training. It almost about to have lunch and Katarina spoke to me ever since mother left us, ask while burrowing her head at the book.

Katarina: "Talon, … why did our mother leave us here?"

'? She is questioning that now after a year but it is possible that…'

"That… I might know but Uncle Gnome asks me that I won't tell you yet until the right time."

Katarina: "But why?"

'Sorry about that Katarina but it is better for you to not knowing it.'

Hearing that question with a sobbing tone, I reach out with my hand to her head then starting to pet her so she can calm down while answering her.

"It is better for the current you do not learn it yet since it might burden you more than enough."

Katarina: "But I want to know now."

"Haa… No, your current self is not enough to carry that type of burden yet."

Katarina already looking at me when I look at her, then I started to stare to her eyes if she can handle it but unfortunately, she will not. Even though I want to tell her many times every time she comes to me and let out her feeling, but I can't compromise her mental health, since telling her earlier why it will undo it.

Katarina: "Are we able to meet our mother again?"

'We can meet our mother right now but due to the agreement between the spiritual rulers and our parent, we can't.'

"I don't know when but we can meet our mother again soon when we have the strength to take our future in our own hands."

When I look back at her, she has been thinking about what I just said for a few seconds and look at me with a determined expression.

Katarina: "Talon, can I join your training so that we can meet mother as soon as possible?"

"Sure, but call me Brother."

Katarina: "NO!!! You are not older than me!"

"No, I'm older than you for a few minutes."

Katarina shows a pouted expression and looks away angrily.

'Katarina is so cute whenever she shows me a pout but she is finally showing emotion after a year.'

"Katarina, let's go to sister Undine and sister Dryad to let them know on what we are planning to, and probably ask them on what training you that might be needed first."

I put down the books and my notebook on the desk and leaving the room to find Undine and Dryad, but Katarina is still sitting in the place and ignoring me when I look at her since I didn't sense her following me.

"Come on, we need to find Sister Undine and Sister Dryad so that start your training."

Katarina is still ignoring me for a while then idea pop on my mind. I started to smile and walk towards to Katarina's coach side while I circulate mana throughout my body as imagine <Body Strengthen> spell.

"Hmph."

'Mm… so you want to do that way huh.'

Katarina put her book down on her book pile beside her and look away from again. I still have my smile on my face as slowly as close as possible. When I'm close enough, Katarina looks at me with indifference and ask me.

Katarina: "What?"

'Ok, I'm ready.'

I ignore her and suddenly pick her up by her waist and place her on my shoulder and ran out to find Undine and Dryad while carefully navigating in the house so that I carefully don't accidentally let Katarina hit somewhere. While I carried Katarina on my shoulder, she tried to break free by flailing her legs or punching my back.

We manage to find Undine and Dryad at the edge of the lake near the forest. Undine sitting at the edge of the lake while her leg is submerged at the lake's water and Dryad sitting at the branch close to the lake. They are chatting about something related to nature but it doesn't matter to me as set down Katarina beside Undine.

"Sister Dryad, can you sit beside Undine since Katarina wants something important to talk to you guys."

Dryad: "Sure, I want to know what this is all about."

I sat under the tree and waited for Katarina to calm down on her own while Dryad goes beside Undine but still confused and Undine is also confused why we are here to begin rather than doing the usual stuff like reading inside the library/office. For a few seconds of waiting while we are looking at Katarina who just calm down and shows determination in her eyes, I know I just smile for a second but probably notice by the two.

Katarina: "Sister Dryad and Sister Undine, I want to train just like Talon to see our mother again."

Dryad: "Are you sure about that, Katarina?"

Katarina: "Yes! I want to see my mother again on my own and brother's way."

'Maybe this might be good for her but also bad.'

Undine: "Still the training of Talon going through is much harder for a child to bear."

Katarina: "I know, every time I see Talon going through his training for both us getting harder and harder for each passing day just for us to see mother again."

Katarina looks down and shows a sad look for a moment then looks at Dryad and Undine with her expression changed to a determination as shown through her eyes. When Dryad and Undine see Katarina's determination just to see our mother again in the future, they look to each other for a while as if communicating with each other while glancing at me then they look at Katarina again.

Dryad: "Are you truly sure to take this path, Katarina?"

Katarina: "Yes!"

Undine: "Even though you want it, you can still wait for Talon to achieve it for both of you so that you don't need to do anything."

Katarina: "I know that Talon can achieve it."

Katarina once again looks down by Dryad's and Undine's discouragement to get strong and just made her rely on me. But I didn't her to see her lose her true potential but I can't help her since it will be counted as relying on me. About a minute on contemplating on her choices, she looks at Dryad and Undine for the final time with a burning determination on her eyes to get strong.

Katarina: "No!"

Katarina: "I want to rely on myself to reach on my goal!"

Katarina: "I want to train to reach the goal of my hard work, not just relying on other people but I rather reach my goal by myself!"

I started to clap on her short speech which made Katarina embarrassed about it, she just said the boldest speech that we ever saw from her, ever since her personality change when our mother left us.

Katarina: "Talon, don't just clap there, help-"

I stop myself clapping and just made her stop on what she going to say by raising my hand toward her.

"If I help you convince Dryad and Undine who is the most understanding on you then it will be counted as relying on me."

"I want you to be independent and persuade them on your own since you want to walk this path."

Katarina: "Alright, since you won't help me convince-"

Dryad: "Fufufu… Don't worry about it, Katarina, you already convince us that you can take this path on your own."

Undine: "And Talon helps you on how you train since most of us didn't help him create his training plan, ever since he started to train before your mother left you."

Undine comes closer to Katarina then hugs her gently while patting Katarina's head.

Undine: "Even though we are worried that you might hurt yourself if you push yourself too hard."

Katarina: "But I want to see my mother again since I forgot her face even in my dreams."

Undine shows hurtful expression as Dryad shows guilty expression when they heard about it but Katarina didn't saw it as she in Undine's embrace.

Katarina: "That why I want to become stronger since Talon told me to achieve it early than relying on him."

Dryad and Undine immediately glared at me when they learn that I'm the one who told Katarina about it. I immediately look away from them then started to whistle, Katarina, stop them from doing anything.

Katarina: "But don't blame Talon about it, even though he is the one who told me, I want to get stronger."

Dryad and Undine sigh on Katarina's behavior.

Dryad: "Katarina, we can train you but we want you to train under Talon first, at the very least you able to train on your body and basic mana control."

Undine: "Yes, you should build a better foundation first, can you do that Talon?"

Standing up and look at Katarina then started to return to the house while telling her.

"Sure, since I already planned to do that anyway."

"Katarina, we are going to start your training tomorrow morning, and do you want to return or stay here for a while."

Katarina: "Ok and I want to stay here for a while."

< (Time Skip (Five Months) >

Time passes as we started to train with Katarina for body foundation and basic mana control. Every morning except for the seventh day of every week as our rest day, today I manage to create my system which is temporary settings. Currently in the middle of the forest called 'Spirit Forest'.

Looking through my status, I have many abilities that I gain from my past life. I also have a hidden status but didn't look at yet, since I'm already been planning to look at my soul first. When I look at my soul, there are two rings and tried to bring it out but instead a drop of blood came out from the rings.

My body started to heat up as my blood boils up and remember that Valerie and Vanessa that I might awake the bloodline inside the rings and needed to find a shelter or create a cocoon. There is no cave in the surrounding, so I started to gather spirit energy while controlling the trees to create a cocoon.

The first layer of the cocoon is spirit energy-infused woods, the second layer is the spirit energy barrier, and the third layer is the mana barrier. After creating a cocoon surround me, my bloodlines started to merge causing to create a blood barrier layer. This process is so painful, there are different information started to enter on my mind, my body started to transform, and getting strong, different energy started to infuse in me.

Someone calling out for me, unable to send energy as it is difficult to concentrate due to pain then when I felt my bloodline awakening is about to complete, someone touches my cocoon, there another surge of energy beside me. After finishing up my bloodline awakening, I breakthrough my cocoon and look at the area where a surge of energy but it made me horrified and slightly panic, I saw Katarina is the center of it just like my bloodline awakening but the surge of energy gathering around her is slowly dispersing which could damage her potential.

'She awakens her bloodline! W-wait! I need to create a cocoon for her!'

I quickly snap out of it and immediately gather spirit energy and place a barrier around Katarina causing it to create a cocoon. Katarina started to writhe after the cocoon form and holy energy started to gather inside the cocoon, seeing her about to faint.

'Shit!! I need her to be awake or she will only gain half-awaken or she might die!'

"Katarina! Stay Awake! No matter what happens! Just stay Awake!"

It looks like Katarina heard my shout then bit her tongue to stay awake. Her eyes show determination when she looks at me, I tried to assure her by nodding at her and shouting once more.

'Good! We need to maintain this until she awakens her bloodline.'

"Katarina! You need to do this! Just stay strong!!"

An about an hour or so, we are almost finishing of Katarina's bloodline awakening. The spirit rulers came to investigate this location due to an unusual large energy surge coming from. The cocoon began to cracks then Katarina came out with two pairs of white wings and also naked. I immediately place some clothes on her body to cover her naked body. Undine and Wisp saw it and immediately poke Salamander and Shade's eyes.

Salamander & Shade: "ARGHHH!!! MY EYES!!!"

'Ho… finally, she is managed to go through it. I need to check what her situation first.'

"Are you alright Katarina?"

Katarina: "Mmm… What happen?"

'Mm…? She awakens our mother's bloodline.'

"You just awaken your bloodline which probably came from our mother."

Katarina: "My bloodline?"

"Yes, your bloodline awaken at the same time when I awaken mine."

Katarina: "Is that so? What is your bloodline?"

"I don't know, I will try to learn about my bloodline but as for your, it looks like an angel bloodline."

"Anyway, why don't you rest for a while since it quite tiring?"

Katarina: "Ok, brother."

Katarina closes her eyes and started to sleep, I brought her to Undine then pass Katarina to Undine as Undine brought Katarina back to the house. Gnome came beside me then wanting to question me but stopping himself.

"I read it from the books in the library about bloodlines and yes, I also awaken my bloodline but didn't know what it is."

"Anyway, I will go back to the house, if you don't have any question anymore also… no, you probably do it anyway, so I leave it to you."

'Now, I think about it… how did Katarina found me in the deep forest? Naw… it might be a twin thing that she might find me… for now I need to go back to our room.'

I have returned to the house to my joint bedroom with Katarina then waited for Katarina to change as I laid down to my bed. Its been a few minutes and still Katarina inside the bathroom. I walk to the door to the bathroom and ask Katarina.

"Katarina, are you already finish there or not?"

Katarina: "N-no! Let me finish preparing first!"

"Sure, just take the time that you need."

'I already know that she is dumbfounded about her appearance and now, I wanted to look at myself on what change I have got.'

After a few minutes of waiting for Katarina to her clothes to pajamas, she finally left the bathroom and laid down on her bed.

"Sure."

I entered the bathroom then look at the mirror for my appearance, my hair become Silver and my eyes become Crimson Red which is I already expected knowing my bloodline is… well except for the unknown one.

'This might be a problem or not, but it is possible to garner attention through my hair and eyes but I won't bother it.'

So, I change to my pajamas and left the bathroom to my bed then laid down to take some rest.

'I'm so tired after that… I need to rest for a while… then I will test my bloodline's abilities.'

<Katarina's P.O.V.>

We are returning to the house where our mother left us with Grandpa Gnome, Sister Undine, Sister Dryad, and others who lives with us and teaching me and my twin brother, Talon. My brother said that I was able to awaken my bloodline came from our mother which is one of the major clues to finding our mother. Also my brother said that he also awakens his bloodline from our parents at the same time but weakens him until he finds a way to balance it.

'Now, I think about it when I tried to find him, he is in the deep forest where Sister Dryad to bring sometimes. When I reach him there, he seems to be inside the gray cocoon when I reach that part of the forest and tried to sense him.'

'I want to question it but Talon seems to be tired from helping me. And what is my bloodline that one of the core questions which is connected to my mother.'

When we finally return to the house, I went to the bathroom and saw my appearance is now different, my hair has a golden sheen than a dull yellow and my eyes become golden eyes and my skin has become pale.

'… Is this me? Now I think about it, Talon's looks are quite different than his hair is silver rather than a dark red while his eyes have become bright red when it previously cyan blue.'

I still looking at the mirror to learn what is the difference of the previous look to my current look when Talon called out to me which breaks out my stunned state.

Talon: "Katarina, are you already finish there or not?"

"N-no! Let me finish preparing first!"

Talon: "Sure, just take the time that you need."

After a few minutes of changing my clothes to my pajamas and others, I left the bath and went toward my bed.

"Talon, you're next."

Talon: "Sure."

Talon entered the bathroom and after a few minutes came out wearing pajamas and getting ready to bed. I want to ask him about our changes and what bloodline we have.

"Um… Talon."

Talon: "What is it, Katarina?"

"Why did our appearance changes when we awaken our bloodline and also what is our bloodline?"

Talon: "That I don't know since it might be an enhancement to our body from our bloodline while I don't know what our bloodline, to begin with, we might ask Grandpa Gnome for that."

"Oh… is that so."

Talon: "Let try it to learn about our bloodline tomorrow by searching the answer from Grandpa Gnome or the library."

"Ok…"

Talon pats my head when I thinking deeply about our situation and when I look at him, he is already laying down on his bed.

Talon: "Anyway, we should get some rest for now."

"O-ok."

I laid down on my bed but unable to fall asleep then look at Talon's back on his bed. I move to his bed and sleep with him for now. I fell asleep almost immediately.

<Talon's P.O.V.>

I felt someone move into my bed and then look at who, it was Katarina already sleeping. I want to move her back to her bed but decided not to since it is my fault, to begin with anyway. I turn around my body to face her then place her head to my arm.

'Well, this is better for me to help you to recover faster.'

I send her a wave of qi and mana through my arm and circulate it to her body to recover faster. While doing so, I also fell asleep when I saw her face calming down and taking slow breath which lulled me to sleep.

'This is also nice to sleep with her for now.'
