A few days passed and Astrid felt as though time had become too slow.

She counted each day hoping and waiting for when her mother's heart would soften a bit a little to see Blade.

To her, it must have been due to the mission they had in planning for the next big event that took his time.

And as glad as she was that everyone was making an effort, she was sad still. He could make an effort and elongate his travels all the way to her, couldn't he?

While those thoughts weighed down on her mind, Astrid caught sight of a figure from the corner of her eye. Her brows creased slightly, trying to make out what or who it was.

From the balcony where she stood, she could see the kingdom to a farther degree and somewhere in that forest was a lady in a light blue floral gown.

Her brown wavy hair fluttered in the wind behind her. Without second-guessing, she knew it was her mother.
