Chương 19: The presents
The next morning I woke up a bit early, cause I had an important work to do.
I took a shower and started my work. It was to write about the group, BTS. Like who are they and what are their albums about, etc. I finished it within 30 mins.
I got up and packed my bag. Near my bag, there were gift boxes. "I didn't open them?" I asked myself.
I sat down, put everything on the bed and opened it one by one.
First, jungkook's. I opened it. I was amazed. "This looks so nice."
It was a doll which shook its head, when exposed to sunlight.
Next was Namjoon oppa's. I opened his gift. "Wow!" I said.
It was a cute flower pot which contained our picture. It was so nice.
Then Taehyung. His gift was a bracelet which said 'FRIENDS FOREVER!' I wore it and kept looking how it was on my hand.
Hoseok's gift. I opened it. "Oh my god!" I said. It was a iPad, specially for my personal use. I loved to draw. So I thought I'd use it for that.
The next was Jin's. His gift was so good. It was 3 pairs of earrings. Especially it was blue in colour. I loved it.
Next was yoongi. I was really excited to open his gift. I didn't know why. I opened and really surprised to see a gift like this from yoongi oppa. It was a photo collage of me and the members together. It was really touching. I quickly went and hung it in my room.
My best friend Mia's turn. Her gift was so amazing. It was a mug, with pictures of me and her. There was something written in it. It said,"I'll be with you forever, till the end." A tear came out from my eye.
I thought to myself " at lest I should have celebrated my before birthdays with her. I feel really sorry for her. First, I should apologise to her."
It was time for my brother's gift. I opened and saw a heart shaped locket and a ring, which said "Best Sis." I was in tears. I opened the locket and saw a picture of us both on either side of it. I wore the locket and the ring. And I kept looking at the picture.
Last but not least. It was Jimin's gift. It was in bag which had more than one gift. There were at least three gifts. One was big and the rest were quite small.
I opened the small ones first. I opened the first box. It had a cute, little show piece of a boy and a girl, holding hands with each other.
I opened the other small box. It had a half piece pendant, which said "Together". It was half a heart in shape. And it looked like a two piece pendant. I thought he had the other half of it, and I wore it.
Now, it was time for the big one. I opened it. It had two drawn pictures, framed. One had me and Jimin, together. Our childhood photo. The other had a picture of me saying happy birthday below. And it also had a sign of Jimin.
"Jimin drew this??" I asked myself. I was surprised and shocked that he could draw.
I placed all the gifts together and took a picture of it, to keep it as a memory.
I looked at everything and tears started flowing in my eyes. I wiped my tears and saw the time. It was almost time. I locked the house and left as soon as possible.

Jimin's POV
We came back and saw the members waiting for us. When we entered, they apologised to y/n. They felt really sorry for planning it, even though they knew she didn't celebrate her birthday.
She forgave them. They were really surprised, at first.
And she said,"How about, I'll treat you guys tonight??"
Jin hyung said,"no. Birthday girl, today is your day. You don't give us party. We give you party. So we'll take you and Jimin."
When I heard my name, I had totally forgotten it was my birthday too. But I have celebrated my birthday. I wanted to make this day special to y/n cause she hasn't celebrated from her parents death.
We had breakfast and had fun.
Then she said,"Thanks to you guys, I have been this happy, on this day. I'm happy to be with you guys."
"Y/n, we're happy to have you." Jin hyung said.
"Yeah. We're really thankful to have you. Even Mia. We've never experienced this much fun. It's all because of you." Yoongi hyung said.
I was really surprised to see hyung sat it. Even the others were. Cause, suga hyung tells them rarely. And it was nice to see him like this.
We finished and left to work.
We had a meeting with the manager.
The manager said we'll be shooting and advertisement.
"Which advertisement?" We asked eagerly.
"Puma brand. And y/n, I'll give you the role. You will tell them and help them out to shoot." The manager said.
I smiled and saw others also smiling.
We got back to work. We were practicing.
*25 mins later
It was break time. Taehyung went to check on y/n. I approached to yoongi hyung and asked,"Hyung, you look really happy. Can I know the reason?"
"Nothing. I just...." he said and looked at y/n.
I saw where his gaze went. "Do you like..." before I could finish, he said,"Aniyo! Stop thinking things. I wish she was my blood related sister. I really have fun when I'm around with you guys and her. And seeing her, it reminds me of my family." He said in a sad tone.
"Hyung, it's okay. She a member of our family now. And she we'll always be with her." I said, making him comfortable.
"Come on. Let's start." Hoseok hyung said.
We practiced for sometime.
*time skip
We were leaving to shoot for the advertisement. Y/n explained us how to act it out.
"Yah. You really act so well." Namjoon hyung said.
"I used to act at the school dramas." Y/n said.
Taehyung said,"Jinjja? Then next time, if I act in a movie, I'll for sure take you along."
We laughed.
We shot the ad and were waiting for the end result.
Jin hyung asked,"Guys, where do we take y/n for her birthday?"
"It should be a place she will remember and never forget the memory." Jungkook said.
"I know a place." I said.
"Yah. Do you really know?" Jin hyung asked.
"Hyung, the city view plan worked out. Trust me, she'll love it." I said.
"Hyung, you totally forgot, it's your birthday too." Jungkook said.
"I know. But I've celebrated my birthday a lot of times. But she hasn't celebrated for a while. So I want to make it special for her." I said.
The others looked shocked.
"Okay." They said.
We left after the discussion.
We reached the destination. A place she loved.
"Here we are. Now, you need to blindfold." Jungkook said.
"Again??" She said.
I laughed inside and said,"Come on. Only this time."
She pouted and said,"hey, it's your birthday too. You get to not wear blindfold but I have to."
She looked cute while pouting.
"I've already been here. Now it's your turn." I said and put on the blindfold to her.
We came in.
"Now you can open!" Mia said, standing next to her.
I was guiding her so I opened her blindfold.
She looked surprised and happy. I took her to a cruise. She always wanted to go on a cruise.
The others were waiting for her reaction.
She turned around and thanked us for this surprise. I looked at the members at twitched my eyebrows. They nodded their head in agreement.
By her looks, I could say that she loved the surprise.
"Y/n, as long as you like it, we have no problem. We'll always be by your side. Right, everyone?" Jin hyung said.
We shouted yes.
She told she didn't know what to do in return.
Yoongi hyung said,"if you want to do us something in return, promise us you'll always be with us and never leave us. Even Mia. Both of you, promise us."
I was so surprised and shocked to hear hyung say these. Not only me, so were the others.
But by seeing all the members bonding with her, I feel a bit relieved. She has 7 people to look after her.
We headed to have dinner. I sat next to y/n. After few seconds, Mia shouted. We talked and talked.
After dinner, y/n and Mia went to get some air.
We were arranging the table.
"Yah, suga hyung. You never talk to us like that. I was really shocked today, when you said those words to y/n. Do you like her?" Jungkook said.
"Yes." Yoongi said.
Everyone got shocked.
"What? I like her as my sister. What were you guys thinking?" He said.
The others looked relieved. While I laughed.
Mia came.
"Hey, is there anything else you want?" Namjoon hyung asked.
"No, I don't need anything. Jimin, y/n wants to talk to you." Mia said.
"Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"I don't know. Just go." She said and I left.
I went and saw her standing there. I approached her and asked,"Y/n, is there something wrong?"
Out of topic, she said I was hardworking, and we couldn't contact each other past theses years.
But one thing struck my mind. She asked me how do I remember what she likes.
I asked her to tell how she remembers what I like.
She was confused at first. But she said whenever she thinks about me, she'll write it and think about the incident.
We both had the same thought. I too remembered her like that. And I was so happy to get her back.
She stopped at a place. My mind struck there.
"Cause? Why?" I asked her.
Her answer, wanted her more. She said,"cause....cause I still miss you. You were so close to me. The only person who knew everything about me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and others. You are really important to me."
Her words. This is what she was thinking of me. She really missed me. So did I. Tears flowed from my eyes. I was so touched by her words. I went and hugged her tightly. I've missed her so much.
I broke the hug and said I too missed her and I also wrote down stuff and remembered things like her.
She wiped my tears and cupped my face and said she won't leave me and be with me always.
We both hugged. My heart felt comforted and wanted her. Why do I feel like this, only when I'm with her? I feel so relaxed and fun around her.
We went in.
"Guys? What is this?" Y/n asked.
Namjoon hyung said these were gifts for her birthday.
She refused but Taehyung she convinced her.
We all gave our gifts. "Okay. You guys wait here for a bit." Y/n said and went out.
She came in with a bag and gave it to me. "Happy birthday Jimin. Here's your gift." She said and I was about to open it, but she said to open.
The others also came and gave gifts.
"It's not yet over" y/n said.
I was surprised. "What? Not yet over?" I asked.
She asked us to come out and see. She said and left somewhere.
We heard crackers bursting. There was firework, which looked beautiful in the dark sky.
It said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DEAR FRIEND, JIMIN." I was so surprised by the firework.
It was not yet over. Another firework said " AND THANK YOU GUYS FOR THIS DAY. I'LL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY. MY OPPAS, MY DONGSAENGS AND MY DEAREST FRIENDS, I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU GUYS AND LETS MAKE IT TOGETHER TILL THE END."
Everyone were so touched by her message. She came down. I went and hugged her. The others hugged her too.
They were too emotional and started thanking y/n. Suddenly i remembered something.
"Wait, I forgot something. Wait here." I said and rushed up and got a gift box. She asked what it was.
I said it was a gift from her brother.
The others looked shocked when I said brother.
Mia asked her who he was and all his details. She said he was an idol and he was baekhyun. She was shocked so were the others.
Then Mia said,"Y/n, you really are quite popular. You have and idol brother and an idol friend."
She said to shut up. And we laughed.
Mia had some other work so I went to drop y/n.
We talked in the car for sometime and I dropped her off at her place.
I went to the dorm. I went to my room and opened the gifts. I opened the members first. They were beautiful shoe pieces. Cause I loved show pieces. I opened Mia's.
It was a cute bear holding a card saying friends forever. It was so cute. I kept it in my desk.
Next was y/n. There were two gift boxes. In the first box, there was the doll that I gave her when I met her here. There was a note saying this was a gift from me to you. So this belongs to you.
I chuckled. I opened the other box. I was surprised to see it. It was a photo frame with our childhood photos. And a bracelet was on top of the frame stuck with tape. I opened saw something carved in it. It said 'BFF ♥️ Jimin - Y/N'
I giggled inside. My heart missed her. My heart wanted her to be with me forever. But why do I get this feeling?
I wore it and placed the others gifts on my table and went to sleep. I had to get ready for tomorrow's hectic day.
