Chương 46: Chapter 46
During their trip, they wandered around a lot and ended up in times square. They took a few pictures and Li Zi posted them. Later on, they decided to relax so they got some ice cream and started walking through central park.
They had put their phone in silence so that all the notifications wouldn't disturb their peaceful time together.
"Remember that time on the first day of school when Luke climbed through the school wall because he was late?" Lake asked and Ashlyn laughed. "Poor him he ended up falling in a pile of dog poop." Ashlyn teased. Luke looked away in embarrassment and Li Zi chuckled. " It's almost like when we first met and he bumped into me." Li Zi sighed and continued. " His food tray was on the floor empty and the food had ruined my new outfit. I was so pissed."
" Haha, You scolded me in front of the whole school and would ignore me every time you saw me. That was an interesting experience." Luke commented and Li Zi shrugged.
"And that time we went to the lake house. Luke was riding his bike fast and even though we warned him to slow down he didn't listen." Ashlyn added. " He then fell into a hole and was trapped there for hours, he also had a broken arm." She continued and the three girls laughed in unison.
"Are you all done embarrassing me?" Luke rolled his eyes but they could all see through him. His ears had turned red. Although he looks indifferent to everyone and he's a bit cold on the outside, once you get to know him he's a pretty sweet guy. Even Li Zi who wasn't pleased to see him again in the jet was happily chatting.
"Excuse me." Ashlyn felt someone tapping her shoulder so she turned around and met with a young girl around her age. She had blonde hair and a pair of blue eyes. "Yes?" Ashlyn questioned politely. " Hey! Sorry for interrupting you. I just thought you would be my perfect model." The girl greeted her.
"Uh Sorry I forgot to introduce myself, My name is Tylor and I'm a photographer." She extended her hand and Ashlyn shook it. " Nice to meet you I'm Ashlyn. These are my cousins Lake and Luke, and this is my friend Li Zi." She introduced each of them.
"Hi! Nice to meet you all. I just couldn't resist myself after seeing a group of pretty people!" She confessed excitedly. "You might not know me but I basically do a random photoshoot with strangers and then post it on social media." She explained.
Li Zi frowned. "So you ask for a photoshoot with us?" She asked cautiously. 'Could it be another tactic paparazzi are using nowadays?' She pondered.
"Yes, that's it!" Tylor replied. "It's okay if you're not up for it though. Not everyone is willing….." She smiled softly.
"Sure," Ashlyn replied. She then remembered following this girl in the secret account she used before Li Zi made her a brand new one.
"Definitely!" Lake agreed as well. "I'll pass." Li Zi told them and Luke joined her on a bench nearby.
"It's okay you will both do," Taylor told them. She asked Lake and Ashlyn to sit on the grass and lay down. She then took the picture from above them. She asked them to pose individually near the lake and took various pictures.
At the end of the mini photoshoot, Tylor asked them to come forward and showed them the pictures." Girl! That's raw talent!" Lake exclaimed happily as she admired the photos. "Thank you." Tylor blushed at the compliment. Ashlyn stayed silent and then finally asked. " Do you do this as a profession" She asked curiously.
"No actually. I'm currently attending medical school, it's just a hobby. Well, I'm not sure about where to take it." She shrugged. Ashlyn smiled at her and nodded in understanding. 'What a pity. She would definitely make it far..' She thought.
"Is it okay if I tag you guys on Instagram? This is my page right here." She demonstrated her page which already had one million followers. " Sure," Lake responded excitedly but she was still mostly focused on how good the photos had turned out. She gave Tylor her account which is private because she only follows her family members.
Next was Ashlyn. She hesitated at first but then asked Tylor one last question. "How long have you been in photography?" She asked. " Since I was four. My father was a photographer so I picked it from there." She responded with a bright smile. Ashlyn smiled apologetically. "Sorry for asking too much. I think you are very talented." She apologized and Tylor nodded her head.
"Don't worry about it and thank you. I'm glad you liked the photos." She replied. " I'll be posting the photos right after editing them. I hope you guys don't mind." She added. " Of course not instead it's awesome," Lake replied and Ashlyn nodded in agreement.
Li Zi also took a look at the photos and raised her eyebrows in surprise. She was very doubtful but she could agree that this girl is talented with the camera. When Luke was looking at the photos, Ashlyn whispered something in Li Zi's ear.
Li Zi nodded and handed her a card. When Tylor was bidding them goodbye Ashlyn stopped her.
" If you ever decide to make your passion into something more than a hobby, make sure to contact me." She told her and handed her the white and golden business card Li Zi had prepared for her. Tylor was confused but took it without looking at it. After sending her off Ashlyn walked back into the group.
"So what are your plans for her?" Li Zi asked. " She has potential. It's sad to see someone wasting their life in something they don't enjoy. Although I'm not aware of her life I can confidently say that she will come back and call me within the next three to five days." Ashlyn told her with a satisfied smile.
"How are you so sure?" Li Zi asked. " Because I'm Ashlyn." She winked.
Li Zi chuckled. "Fine, I trust you." She replied and they started walking and chatting again.
