"Jaz..." Lin Zoe whispered as she moved closer to the bed where the little Lisa was sleeping.
"Jasmine.." She called again and shook her tiny body gently to wake her up.
Lisa's eyes slowly fluttered open. When she saw Zoe smiling at her, she sat up.
"Is the party over already?" Lisa's asked as she looked at Zoe.
Zoe wore a short red cocktail gown with a matching necklace and earring made with white beads. Her black hair fell freely to her shoulders and her face had only a little make-up.
Lisa had always envied her sister, especially her hair. While Zoe had inherited their mother's black hair, she had taken her father's honey brown hair.
"The party is still on. But boring." Zoe complained.
"At least you get to attend parties." Lisa said with a sad pout.
Whenever a party was being held, Lisa was never allowed to attend— Not like she would have loved to anyway, but her parents attitude to it was what annoyed her the most.
