Chương 1: new beginning
Lily's pov
Wow... Cool breezes brushed my skin it feels like I need to snooze further because of all winters period it's extremely difficult to wake early in the morning,
"lily get up it's time to get ready" my aunt mumbled, she knows me very well that I'm getting very lazy on winter days,
today is my first day of university, all fresh start, new day,
but my brain instructing me, sleep more, but only for 5 minutes' promise.
but my heart battle, Lily get up you are getting late,
And as you know,
heart vs brain always won the brain.
Lily today is your first-day first impression to your teachers, get up you are getting late!
And finally,
I opened my eyes which is burning and irritating,
because I was reading horror books until 3 am in the morning,
And finally, I get up from my bed, beam at my clock,
oh... shoot it's 6:15 I'm getting late
And then, I hurrying towards the bathroom, brush my teeth and take quickly a shower and fastly wrapping my towel around my body, and rush to my room,
Take out my clothes from my cabinet and wear a black sweatshirt and blue jeans with white sneakers,
And comb my hair into a high ponytail and grab my glasses,
yeah I know I look like "very nerdy ones", I mumbled myself look at into the mirror
Aunt yell from kitchen "Lily your breakfast is ready"
"yeah! coming"I replied,
I'm actually very scared, I have to admit this because it's all-new now, my life is begun with a fresh new start,
but I actually don't want to be tensed that much like " how can I make new friend, how I cannot get shy in front of teachers, how can I deal with ragging senior students "
but I'm not truly afraid that much,
because I have my best friend who always with me, she's Aditi Sharma, she's first Indian friend I came across in Brooklyn, at first I'm so nervous and shy in my school, I never talk with anybody But after meeting her, we both into best friend's,
she's always with me we both are friends since at age 15 we did our high school at the same school "st. Marry high school"
And now our college was the same, it is "NYC mystic university" wow that's the dream of mine, I worked so hard to get a scholarship for this college,
then I glared at the clock,
Oh...Shoot it's 6:45
I snatch my backpack, but I stopped when I look at my parent's photo, and I get really emotional
I mumbled "mom dad I wish you could be here, with me, I know dad used to be very happy when I finally grow up, today is my first day of my college mom dad I wish...I wish you could be here", my eyes replenished with water and, then I wipe my tears and hurry towards downstairs the kitchen.
