Chương 6: Meeting's results.
Zathrian looked at me with clear resentment in his eyes, he looked me up and down and sneered" Shemlen, your people have never helped the Elves, only stole from us, murdered us or worse. Why should I believe the words of a Shem that has nothing apart from torn clothes, a crude bow and a fancy sword."
In response to the Elf I laughed for an uncomfortably long time, drawing out the laughter before suddenly stooping, looking Zathrian dead in the eyes I said" Before this month is over this 'Shem' in front of you will have dealt with the wolves and the werewolves and once they have been dealt with I will deal with you as well, mighty Elf, Zathrian. One last thing before I leave, I will return by the end of tomorrow with the bodies of the wolves near the river, the ones closet to your camp, when that time comes you will apologise to me for this outburst and then maybe I will help you deal with the werewolves."
Zathrian was about to say something however the coldness seized my body once more, my eyes turned to what only could be described as pure black as a ghastly aura filled the tent before I could react, I already had my bow drawn and placed up against his head, in a cold and deadpan tone I Snarled " You have my terms, do not test me Hahren, your dead gods can't save you from my wrath."
Immediately two Elves entered the tent, one was Marvin who had hos bow drawn while the other was a tall slim Elven woman, her blonde hair was shoulder length, as soon as her blue eyrs met my own eye's, I instantly calmed and put the bow on my back once more.
As I walked out of the tent I mockingly said" If I'm not here by tomorrow night then this poor Shem was killed like you predicted."
Walking into the forest, I made my way down towards the waterfall that lead into the river, my mind completely focused on finding and ending the wolves so I could move on with the rest of my life, walking through the forest a familiar voice broke me from my thoughts.
*Main mission completed: Storage ring had been placed on the host's left index finger. 10 silver has been put within the ring, follow up mission to be issued shortly.*
Instinctively I tapped the ring with my finger and my consciousness was pulled into it, looking around, it was clear to see that the ring had a huge capacity, in the far corner of the ring was a tiny pile of silver. As I went to explore more of the ring, my mind was once again pulled towards tye sound of the system.
*Main mission issued" Solve the conflict between the Elves and the Werewolves. Reward: +2 ranks to Magic and Charisma and 50 exp.*
Before I could finish absorbing the new main quest, two more were issued.
*Side mission: Eliminate the wolves. Reward: +2 Strength and +1 ranks to each combat mastery, +20 relationship with unknown.
Side Mission: Help the Grand Oak. Reward: Unique Magic Spell, 20 Silver and IronBark wood.*
<Meanwhile, Elder's Tent, Dalish Tribe>
"Maria, track that Shem, try to find out if he has any obvious weaknesses, if he suceeds in killing the wolves then we can use him against the werewolves however the Shems have always abused the Elves. We need to be ready encase everything goes south for us."
Maria hesitated and asked" He came here willingly, he didn't act aggressive until you started acting haughty towards him. I will not contribute to killing an innocent, especially one that came here to offer his help to us. I will be going to track him, to make sure none of you do something stupid, you both clearly felt that something was off when he eyes turned black, it was if something else was
controlling him."
Zathrian slowly got angry, turning to Maria he said" I wasn't asking you to do it, I was telling you to, the Shems will bring the downfall of our clan like they nearly did to us before. I tow felt that something was wrong however that is all the more reason to kill him, maybe he is possessed by a Demon that acts when it feels threatened."
Marvin chipped in " He threatened the Elder Maria, that should be enough reason to kill him already, I agree with Zathrian's plan, if he is indeed strong enough, then we will send him into the ruins to deal with the Werewolves. After that we will kill him."
A small smile appeared on Maria's face as she responded with" If you try to harm him in any way, I will tell him that it was you tow behind the plot, he is a potential ally for our tribe but your hatred of the Humans blinds you to that fact. You are both to weak minded to be in the positions that you are in."
With that Maria disappeared into the forest to find the Shem that would change the fortunes of both her life and that of her clan.

Soul_Snatcher Sorry for the really late chapter, there may not be one over the weekend as I'm at work for over 30 hours, leaving little time for writing. I do have Monday and Tuesday off however so I will try to get 2 chapters out on those two days if there isn't one on the weekend.
