Chương 32: The Note, The Truth
Dear Daniel and Katherine Elizabeth,
I know just by how I address this you will know something is up. You have been searching long enough. I can't believe I didn't see it sooner but I am glad to see it now. Bad Dream, Daniel, and Daydream, Kathrine Elizabeth, you found each other. Trust only each other, not Man in Moon. He has kept you apart long enough. Enjoy your time together, work less, there are other dreamers out there. Other spirits. You have only been alone once since we got together and I know that is Manny's fault.
My dreams coming into the real world, Daydreams workload and even Bad Dream's acceptance of him being a side character in our story. All of that kept you apart. Even as I write this, Manny burns my spine and ribs where he branded me. Just like Colin did with the J cross, Manny did with a crescent moon. I know Daydream has the same brand on her left breast, just over her heart. Moon believes we belong to him but we are our own people. Don't let him fool you.
Daydream woke from her death the day after she died. The men who killed her had buried her near her cabin. They left Daniel in the snow. Daydream had mentioned kicking something in the snow but getting distracted by Manny. It was Daniel. He woke up 2 days later and made his way back to their old home. The one where they met. Manny didn't speak to him. Manny didn't tell Daniel why he woke up or what he needed to do. He just let him go, while Daydream thought she had to wait 300 years she could have seen Daniel had she waited 2 days by the river. I'm sorry it took so long, I am glad you are together now though.
The most important thing, Daydream, I met your father. He regretted his not trusting your love. He told me that if I ever met you in the afterlife to tell you, he blesses your marriage and he will always love you. He was very sorry for not letting you two be together while he could. He passed peacefully after I promised to tell you that.
That being said, you will need to get married again. I think Manny will agree to host the ceremony since it is the least he can do after all he put you through. Manny, North, or Cupid could do the ceremony. Cupid also owes you an apology Daydream. Daniel still loves you and has been with you for longer than you have known him.
I will be back later, going to see my brother. He and I need to work out our problems and fix what has happened to us. I can't keep running. I also can't wait around for the chance that he might hurt you guys or the Nightmares. You are my family. I love you both and will protect you with my life.

Poetsoul61521 I know the chapter is short. This letter was less than 200 words in the original with less details than the first part of it. I expanded it to explain as much as I could. Next Chapter will pick back up with Tragedy and where she goes.
