My heart did a backflip at the violent table slam.

I glanced at Tatsuya who was the cause. He didn't have his usual cool aura and blank expression. Instead, he was sending out a chilling atmosphere with a subtle glare.

He then stood up and settled his hands on my shoulders.

"I am feeling a bit parched, as is my assistant, so if you'll excuse us." Tatsuya was wearing a professional smile, but the frosty sting left no room for another word to be said.

Tatsuya turned me around, and we left the ladies' gathering. I didn't say a word as he pushed me along with a strong, and a little painful, hold on me.
