Emperor dynasty entertainment had a few decent games this year, but they didn't qualify for game of the year as a whole.

At first, the industry insiders were generally optimistic about the great Tang. After all, three realms was an MMORPG. For the sake of profit and statistics such as player retention, some of the game's playability would have to be sacrificed, so it was natural for the judges to lose points.

On the other hand, the great Tang was a single player game with a strong Chinese feel to it. Other than the lack of game content, it had no obvious shortcomings.

However, after Overwatch was released, the 'game of the year' award immediately became a mystery.

Many video game designers had realized that 'Overwatch' was definitely qualified to compete for this award!
