Mu Ru was embarrassed that many people were looking at her, so she looked around for somewhere else to wait. She saw a sign with an arrow, and it pointed to a place called the Heavenly Human Realm. She thought it sounded nice and that it seemed to be a good place, and she decided to go there and take a look.
2Mu Ru turned around and followed the sign. After about ten minutes, she finally arrived at the so-called Heavenly Human Realm, but what she saw greatly disappointed her.
2It was simply a landscaped area where guests could stand to view from afar the words Heavenly Human Realm, which was spelled out using potted red plants. It was at the foot of the mountain.
2It was a simple landscaping design that seemed to represent the map of China. It was a feast for the eyes, but there was nothing very spectacular about it.
2Mu Ru saw another sign that led to a place that seemed to be an exclusive garden. She was wondering if she could go there to take a look when her phone rang.
2It was Dongfang Yu. She answered the call. He asked where she was and told her to hurry back to the car. He said that they were done and were about to go home.
2Mu Ru immediately gave up on the idea of going to the desert plant area. She quickly turned around and walked back to the car. Back at the parking lot, Dongfang Yu, Dongfang Mei, and Xi Muxue were waiting for her. Furthermore, Xi Muxue was carrying a cloth bag in her hand. Mu Ru did not know what it was.
2Aunt Gu frowned when Mu Ru rejoined them. "Mu Ru, what's wrong with you? You didn't even finish burning incense and praying. Why did you leave? Ah Mo originally wanted you to help Muxue with making the petitions," she said.
2Mu Ru then realized that she had been too careless. She didn't give too much importance to the ritual, and she had only burned the incense. She was unable to do anything else because she had run out of the temple hall.
2"I couldn't get used to the fragrance inside," Mu Ru said truthfully. She looked at Dongfang Mei and apologetically said, "I'm sorry, Aunt Gu. The smoke made my eyes tear up. I really couldn't stand it, so I ran out to breathe fresh air."
2"You couldn't get used to the smell?" Aunt Gu's expression shifted slightly, and then she glanced at Mu Xue without a trace. She said, "Oh, it's fine. It's probably because you rarely come to places like this. Next time you come, you can't just run away."
2"Okay. I got it," Mu Ru quickly replied. She thought to herself that if they would have to go back to that temple again, she would pretend to be sick and stay at home. She wouldn't want to go back and smell the scent of burning incense sticks again.
2Dongfang Yu still drove for her on their way back home, but their journey home was smooth. The car did not break down, and they remained silent. They soon arrived at the Dongfang courtyard.
2When they arrived, Xi Muxue complained of dizziness. Dongfang Mei said that it might be because the Dharma Temple was halfway up the mountain, and Xi Muxue could have caught a cold from the mountain winds.
2Mu Ru did not know why Xi Muxue felt a little dizzy. She flipped through one of the pregnancy books to check for any valid causes for the dizziness. She then found out that it was best for a pregnant woman to not take any medicine for only minor colds because it could affect the growing baby.
