2"Where have you been?"
2Seeing that her expression was tense, Huo Nanchen hugged her and lowered his head to kiss her on the lips. After recovering from his coma, he could not resist the urge to kiss Gu Ruochu every time he was around her. His previous gentleness had become a little overbearing.

2Huo Nanchen temporarily let go of her and placed one hand on the wall before carefully looking at her. "Ruochu, sleep with me for a while. The blankets and bed covers here have all been changed. Will you lie down with me?"
2Gu Ruochu was not fooled by his sweet words. Her face tensed up as she scolded him.
2"Huo Nanchen, are you not afraid of death? You just recovered from your coma and sneaked out of the ward. How many times have you done this?"
2"Don't be angry. I was just out for a walk." Huo Nanchen stretched out his arm to hug her, but she gently patted it away. "Stop fooling around and lie down on the bed for me."
2Huo Nanchen ignored her scolding attitude and immediately trapped her in his arms. "I'll lie down on the bed in a while. For now, let me hug you."
2He gently kissed her neck, and Gu Ruochu finally gave in to his advances. She kissed Huo Nanchen on the lips, and they awkwardly made their way towards the bed. When she regained her senses, Gu Ruochu had almost pressed down Huo Nanchen against the bed.
2She was afraid that she had pressed against his wounds, so she placed her hand on his face.
2"Nanchen, are you all right?"
2Huo Nanchen did not say a word. Instead, he pulled her up into a sitting position and kissed her more passionately.
2"Be good and call me Hubby."
2"No."
2"Ruochu, call me your Hubby. I want to hear it. These days, you rarely call me that."
2Gu Ruochu finally wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered, "Hubby."
2Her voice was seductive, and Huo Nanchen was elated to hear her whisper the word.
2"Good girl."
2The doctor on duty stepped into Huo Nanchen's ward to dress his wounds. When she saw the scene, she felt uncomfortable. She didn't know whether to enter the room or give the couple some privacy.
2Gu Ruochu saw the doctor and coughed awkwardly.
2"Huo Nanchen, the doctor is here. Go back to bed."
2"Okay."
2Despite his positive response, Huo Nanchen ignored Gu Ruochu and continued to kiss her. The doctor braced herself and walked into the ward. After he saw the doctor, Huo Nanchen finally freed Gu Ruochu from his grasp.
2The female doctor coughed softly and said, "Mrs. Huo, I'm here to treat Mr. Huo's wound."
2"Okay."
2The doctor began to help Huo Nanchen clean and rebandage his wound. Gu Ruochu looked at the wound on his back and felt uneasy. It seemed to have just scabbed, but it was terrifyingly deep.
