But like the jerk I was just because my dad pissed me off, I decided to hurt you by asking her instead.
My dad wanted you to be my girlfriend because of that d*mn business merger!
I didn't want to be your boyfriend for that reason.
I wanted to be your boyfriend because you loved me for who I am.
And because I'm your future husband just like you told me when you were 7.
I was planning to ask you to be my girl during the Grad Ball.
I was ready to confess to you the truth but how could I?
You arrived with that guy!
That guy who had the audacity to hold your waist like he owned you!
I wanted to beat the living daylights out of him!
But I didn't because I knew it was my fault for asking another girl instead of you.
Imagine my shock when he said that he's your boyfriend.

Sinalubong si Dale ng secretary nya sa lobby pa lang ng building nila.
"Good morning ma'am Dale! Ready for today's meetings?" masayang bati ni Trish sa kanya.
Tumango lang sya habang papasok sila ng elevator.
Sila lang dalawa ang tao doon.
"By the way, how's..."
"If you're going to ask me about the honeymoon...don't!" seryosong tingin nya kay Trish.
"I was actually going to ask you about your visit to Lexie but sure you can tell me about your honeymoon too!" sabay tawa nito.
Namula naman si Dale sa hiya.
Hindi lang basta secretary nya si Trish.
Kaibigan nya rin ito.
Nakilala nya ito nung umalis sya ng Pilipinas.
Nang bumalik sya ay kinuha nya itong secretary.
Alam nito ang kwento ng buhay nya.
At naroon ang kaibigan nung mga panahon na madilim ang lahat.
"But anyway, you look happy Dale! I'm glad. You're glowing."
Lalo syang namula sa sinabi ng kaibigan slash secretary na glowing sya.
Bakit ba kasi ASG ang naiisip nya sa glowing na yan?
And suddenly thoughts of what happened in the shower invaded her mind.
