Chương 25: 25. A Day Off

His kisses were different, it was like he was claiming me. He was rough but gentle at the same time. He was groaning, pushing me back to the wall. He was taking my hands and hold my wrists above my head. I was moaning his name, shuddering under his touches.

"Are you still on pain meds, can I fuck you bare?" He was tracing my neck with his kisses, his other hand was caressing my nipple.

"I'm done with pain meds James. You're good without condoms." I was shuddering under his touches.

"I'll get you some water babe, hold on." He was gone. I decided to get up, and filled the bathwater. We were taking the day slow, I decided in my mind. I want to relax with him for the whole day.

We finally dipped ourselves in the bath, he engulfed me in his embrace. I felt safe, comfortable, I felt like I was his. I snuggled in closer to him, kissing his biceps and slowly closed my eyes relaxing in his arms.

"This, I could do this all day." I rest my cheek on his chest, as he slowly kissed my temple.

"Me too baby, me too." He pulled me closer to him, as we stay there until the water turned cold.

"James. No don't! My ears!" I laughed hard. We decided to go on a road trip. That was when he started to do a karaoke with his oldies songs. I quickly pulled down my window to drowned his voice. Making him laughed, and finally stopped singing.

We had breakfast in a small dinner by the side of the road. He looked relaxed, he called his assistant this morning, telling her not to disturbed him this whole day. He said that he was mine for this whole day.

"I like seeing you like this. You're more relaxed James. Just leave out the singing part and we're good." He laughed loudly making few heads turned to us.

We continued our little excursion to the mountains, seemed that he like pushing his car to the speed limit. I just like spending the time with him, he would hold my hand while driving. Caressing my knuckles, sometimes kissing it, making me smile at him.

It was lunch time, when he decided to stopped at local farmers market, then have a picnic in the woods.

"You know, this can go sideways quickly James. I'm not sure if you're going for romance, or suspense thriller where the girl died in the middle of no where." He laughed at me, then looked at me seriously.

"The only sideways I'm aiming for you, is the one where you're naked and I'm behind you, fucking you sideways hard and fast baby." He smirked knowing what his words meant to me.

We finished our lunch, I was laying my back on his chest. "I have to attend a conference this Friday, and was thinking of taking you with me? Last week was hard for me, literally. It can be our little getaway. Come on, just say yes? I think you're good with your schedule."

"I have Dr. Sheridan my shrink on Saturday. But I'll try to move it up to tomorrow. But the rest is good I guess." I sighed and snuggled in closer to his chest.

We drove back to town, and ended our day trip with a nice dinner at Gianni's. He remembered that I love it there, when we went on our first date. Sam was our waiter again for tonight.

"Mr. Logan, Ms. Matthews welcome. I will be your waiter for tonight. Would you like to hear our specials?"

"Lori, baby...what would you like?"

We ordered their specials and Sam left us to our privacy. "Thank you for today James. I really had a good time."

"Me too baby, I really haven't had this much fun, and laughed so hard in my whole life. So thank you Lori." He caressed my palm with his and smiled at me.
