On the stage, Xia Ruoxue glanced at the brocade box in front of her. Her heart was thumping wildly.

She did not know what was inside, but since Ye Chen said so, it must be extremely precious.

"Can I open it?" Xia Ruoxue asked Ye Chen.

"Yes."

The crowd was anxiously waiting for the big reveal. In a sense, they even wanted to know what was inside the box more than she did.

Then, the brocade box was opened.

It was a blue crystal necklace. The crystal had a strange shape and shone charmingly when light was cast upon it. 

From afar, it looked like a distant star.

Ye Chen had secretly bid for it at the auction so that he could give it to Xia Ruoxue on her birthday.

At this moment, Xia Ruoxue's body was trembling, and tears had already gathered in her eyes.
