Silence descended in Lexus' office. 

His eyes only showed a little bit of shock but this did not even last for more than a second before it returned to being still and calm. He walked to October's side and hugged her, giving her reassurance. 

He burried his face on her neck and smelled her but didn't say anything. He can feel the deep seated anger from her body. It had to be said that he was moved for her deep concern on him. It was really warm. 

"I'm sorry." October finally muttered softly, feeling upset about the things that had transpired. She did not take into account that Lu Xing would suddenly attack her and that Lexus would be hurt while shielding her. She lowered her head.

"It's not your fault." He said. But there was no other response from the woman in his arms. "I'm just glad that you're fine."
