Chương 10: Talented! like her mother!
Initially, the house has filled with peace after the ruckus Wang Kai has silently plotted. This time, thank's to Guan Xiao Ni, the big Guan manor once again filled with her shouting.
"WANG KAI! COME HERE, THIS LORD OVER HERE DEMAND YOUR PRESENCE."
"WANG KAI, WHAT ARE YOU HIDING FOR? COME OUT, QUICK! DON'T BE A COWARD!!"
"WANG KAI, YOU ROTTEN EGG! DO YOU THINK THE WORLD IS YOUR SERVANT? YOU SAY YOU WANT ME THEN YOU GOT ME, YOU SAY YOU DON'T WANT ME THEN YOU TOSS ME AWAY!!"
"BASTARD!! I WILL NEVER BE WITH YOU AGAIN!!!"
At the dirty kitchen, Mother Guan surrounded by chef and maids had covered her forehead with her fair hand. Slightly frowning, she asked one of the maids again, "This time, what happen again?"
The maid shakes her head, calming that she doesn't have a clue what happens to Xiao Ni.
"Aiya, this house will never be quiet when that pair of brother and sister meets." Mother Guan patted her chest before she walkout from the kitchen to see her dear daughter.
On the stairs, Xiao Ni has sat, propping her head at her knee, hugging herself as she lowers her head. In the darkness, she heard people talking about her.
"... Call Guan Xian..., ... what happens to them?"
"Aunty.... cupcakes... Don't know why... Drunk..."
"What?! how can... Drunk?"
".. Look at your daughter.... drink your.... drunk!"
"This lass... Yan Xi? ... that man again?"
Xiao Ni wasn't really clear, she doesn't understand what is them thinking about, but she knew they were saying that she is drunk. So she raised her head and yelled, "I'm not drunk!!!"
"... Guan Xian, bring Yan Xi to the guest bedroom."
"Why must me? I'm so not going to picking up him, Jian Jun you go! I will take Xiao Ni to her room." NiNi wasn't sure who bring drunk Yan Xi to his room, but she knew she is not drunk, therefore she doesn't need help from others to carry her.
"No No No! I can walk myself." She hit everyone who tried to touch her, stubbornly insisting on walking on her own, no matter how Guan Xian and other coax her she refutes!
Witnessing the chaos in front of him, Wang Kai who has just finished talking to father Guan walks through the crowd and stands beside Guan Xian. Without asking what happen, he kneels on one knee and whispering something to Xiao Ni.
"Xiao Ni, there are mouses on the floor, are you sure you want to walk on your own???" His fresh mint breathe fills Xiao Ni's nostrils, a deep magnetic voice sound extremely familiar, raising her head slowly Xiao Ni saw a handsome face as the blurriness dissolve in her eyes.
Xiao Ni pout before she shook her head slowly, "I'm afraid of a mouse," she whispers with a small voice like it was a secret no one knows. Hearing her answer, a smiles formed on Wang Kai's face it was a warm smile.
"En, I know, that's why I come to carry you." Wang Kai continued his play despite knowing Guan Xian frowns behind him.
He knew Guan Xian will say that he was a shameless man keep tricking a little girl. He also can imagine Ji Cun Xi's naughty smile from behind also Wang Ru's constipated-like face.
His smiles rose as he watches Xiao Ni attentively nod her head like an obedience little girl and raise her hand.
"Shameless! really shameless! My sister is a silly fool, keep falling for an underhanded trick like this! Hmph!" Guan Xian sneers as he watches Wang Kai carrying Xiao Ni.
He should have just force carry Xiao Ni before Wang Kai come!
As he keeps rumbling about how shameless Wang Kai is to himself, Wang Kai has quickly left the stair and walk to Xiao Ni's room. Father Guan who silently felt a little unhappy too, hit Guan Xian's butt to resurrect Guan Xian.
"Stop blabbering like a crazy man, go follow them!" Father Guan said as he was helpless with both of their children. Mother Guan that stunned watching the sweet moment of them quickly gained herself before she grins widely.
"Aiya, No need, Wang Kai such a good boy nothing will happen to Xiao Ni. Guan Xian, helps the mother move Xiao Ni's bonsai Christmas tree to the center of the house." Mother Guan ignores father Guan's death glare as she walks away from the scene.
"Ah! that silly girl of mine is actually quite smart herself," she looks at the bonsai Christmas tree that initially becomes a thorn in her heart like it was a Christmas present she has always longed. "Talented! like her mother!"
Guan Xian can only helplessly follow mother Guan's instruction meanwhile father Guan's lips twitch when he saw the gaze from Wang Ru and Jian Jun. "Sigh, when will this bunch of hormonal teenagers grow up?" he mumbles as he walked away.
He really considering sending Xiao Ni to study aboard as too many hungry wolves surround her precious daughter!

Xiao Ni's bedroom is on the main corridor, across from Guan Xian's study room. Wang Kai who has to know Guan's family house very well walks steadily to Xiao Ni's bedroom.
Every step was firm, however, he walked slower with a smaller step than he usually used. The little snoring Xiao Ni's look accompanies him on the short trips, it brings him to relaxes mood when he knew she can sleep well.
"Wang Ru that bad man! how dare he bring another woman to his room! Even I didn't dare to sleep on his bed but he actually let other women sleep on his bed!" Xiao Ni mumbles but she shows clearly hard on her tone.
Wang Kai silently listens to her as she keeps on mumbling, "Hey, you should surrender yourself to police after this."
Wang Kai raises his eyes filled with amusement and moves his head a little farther from Xiao Ni. "huh, what did I do?" he calmly asks.
"You look like him, smells like him, even sound like him, It's a crime! It makes me miss him more." Xiao Ni tightened her grip on Wang Kai's neck after she finishes her sentence.
Wang Kai holds his laughter as he dotingly plays along with her, "How much did you miss him?"
"Ah, actually not that much. Just a little hehe." Xiao Ni crispy laughter filled the air before she suddenly stops laughing and said with a griefing voice.
"Aiya, my poor puppy, I miss them very much. Blame that bad man, hiding my puppy so well, They are my puppies but I only saw them 7 times. How can they grow well without a competent mommy like me? what happens if that ugly Song Yun cut them into pieces and make them into soup?" Xiao Ni voices filled with worries turning Wang Kai's smile into stright lines.
She missed the puppies more than she misses him?! this little fool! Wang Kai can't believe there will be a day where his position was lower than puppies.
"But that won't be a problem anymore, I've got a perfect plan made! This time I will definitely forget that devil and take the custody over my puppies. Their house has a boy already, they don't need another puppy, right?" Xiao Ni suddenly moves her head to the right, meeting precisely Wang Kai's neck.
He sudden movement bring shivers to Wang Kai's spine, his adam apple bobbed a few times before he blurts out nonsense, "You will never forget him, you've been with him your whole lifetime, if you forget him then it equally means forgetting your memories of lifetimes."
Xiao Ni frown when she heard Wang Kai's words, "I said, I will forget him! then you will watch me move on!" she insisted, hit Wang Kai's back with her little hand.
"Why do you want to move on, don't you know he is very much wrapped around your finger? don't you know how much he love you?" Wang Kai asked with a low voice, when he heard that Xiao Ni wanted to move on, he thought he would be mad. But somehow he didn't.
Watching her insisted on moving on show him how much she actually feel about him, it make him happy. But repeatedly hearing her wanted to moving on he starts to get irritated, but wisely hold his tongue and coaxes her instead.
"Why I wanted to move on?" Xiao Ni repeated his question again.
"That is a good question..."
"That... is a good question... why should I move on?" Xiao Ni asks herself a few times before she rests her head to Wang Kai's shoulder.
"I've liked him from... I was 2 years old? I can't even remember hehe, now I suddenly want to forget him..." she mumbles and silence for a while, "It's my mission impossible, hehehe."
Unfamiliar feeling rushes on Wang Kai's blood, "This girl, are you trying to flirt with me even on this state?" Wang Kai rumbles as he didn't know should he be angry or happy.
Ignoring Wang Kai's voice, Xiao Ni suddenly slaps her forehead with her own hand. Hearing the sound coming from the slapping Wang Kai knew she must have hurt her forehead.
"What are you doing?" he gritted his teeth as he fastens his pace to Xiao Ni's room, they arrived in no minutes. He carefully placed Xiao Ni on her bed and look at the red mark Xiao Ni has left on her forehead.
He helplessly watching Xiao Ni who still cover her forehead. "Where do you put your multipurpose ointment?" Wang Kai foolishly asked the drunk Xiao Ni, knowing she wouldn't answers.
Scanning around Xiao Ni's room, he then spotted a familiar medicational ointment they've always used from childhood.
Because little Xiao Ni is very clumsy, she often hurt herself accidentally. When that time comes, either he or Guan Xian will rush to put the ointment and coaxes her to stop crying.
The sweet memories were still fresh on his mind, subconsciously making him smiles even wider. He thought he didn't have to put ointment on this silly woman again since everyone has grown up.
When he wanted to chuckles, he heard Xiao Ni's chuckles before him. But it was a sorrowful chuckle, almost like a cry.
"Ah! I forget! I should move on because that bastard never really like me... He even invited another woman to his bedroom, with a child!" She pouts before she continued, "You don't know how brokenhearted I was! It even hurt more than being dumped in front of the whole nation."
She removes her hand slowly, showing clearly her alluring face, even when she closed her eyes. Wang Kai wanted to stop the times and adore her forever, but a drop of tears make his brain numb.
"Tell me how far should I go again? I'm not mad when he suddenly ignore me, I'm not mad when he didn't want to hang out with me anymore When he said he only sees me as a little sister what did I do?" Xiao Ni asked herself before she continues her stories.
"Didn't I cooperated with him? The day he will leave I just want to confess and let my feeling go, but then he made tangled more instead! Huhuhu... you tell me what a bad person he is?" Xiao Ni raised her index finger and point at Wang Kai.
Wang Kai slowly approached Xiao Ni who still lay on the bed, he nodded his own head as he answers Xiao Ni. "Indeed, he is a very bad guy."
Hearing other voices agreeing with her, Xiao Ni furiously nods her head before she abruptly sits on the bed. "Then he comes back and everything starts to get better, I was so so so so so happy. But I guess it was too perfect to be real. I tried very hard to hold on..." Xiao Ni pouts randomly rest her head on the nearest thing.
"That bastard! I accept him when his son suddenly appears! I even not throwing tantrums when I learn he had a girlfriend aboard! After everything I've been through he still dumped me! My great God, why must I fall for this man?" Xiao Ni grief, her eyes turn red but no tears fall anymore.
"Then I saw that boy and mother sleeping in his private bedroom! He actually let that woman sleep in his bedroom," Xiao Ni chuckles.
"No wonder he wanted to claim that boy as his own, because he wanted the mother all along! How stupid am I to believe his whole lie, he only needs me for business, I'm just a tool to achieve something he wanted all along."
"He is already so rich, why did he need more money? Ah... to pamper that woman, that must be it."
Probably because she had cried too long.
Probably because she was too tired.
Her eyelids began to feel heavier and heavier before she falls asleep on a warm pillow, the heartbeat from a certain someone acts like a lullaby before she drifts to the dreamland.
At that moment Wang Kai questions himself, from the moment he came back, did he ever make her genuinely happy?
He always happy whenever she was around. He was happy when he saw her foolish grin, he unending nag, he spoiled wishes, he even loves it when she ignores him even if it's annoyed him a lot.
So he wanted to do the same, he wanted her to be happy whenever she is with him. Wang Kai's phoenix eyes were fixed on Xiao Ni's tears.
He sighed and wiped away her tears gently, caressing her temple afterward. Sleeping Xiao Ni was very peaceful, like a little fragile baby resting on his chest.
How nice it is if he can feel this every day, he thought.
Lowering his gaze to Xiao Ni, he pecks both of her eyelids before he reaches for her hand.
"Fool girl what are you thinking about? If I want to build a happy family, I can only build it with you. How can I be happy without you?"
He wants to grumble more about the 'sleeping on his bed' accident. Xiao Ni has mentioned it over and over again if he didn't explain clearly what actually happen he knew she would keep mentioning this!
Initially, he didn't think much about this matter, he would likely forget about it if Xiao Ni didn't come that day. He has thought about it since he would soon quit from Wang corporation, the sole individuals to take over is Wang Ru.
So when mother Wang said she didn't want Song Yun to come to the Wang manor, meeting in public is not a good idea, thus he decided to let them met on his office, scratch that, ex-office.
It will be Wang Ru's soon, he didn't care, he let them meet there. Never expect it he shot his own foot!
Alas, they end up with another misunderstanding. He watches Xiao Ni smooth cheek and pokes it. He had too many things to explain, he might as well write a letter to make it clearer.
