Since Xiu Mei's background is a bit special, the police couldn't easily approach her to get an interview regarding the incident. In the end, it was the anti-terrorist team from the military that was permitted to interview her. 

Her eldest brother, Xiu Min, already briefed her about what to say and not to say. The case was supposed to be handed over to the anti-terrorist military team since the incident is being considered as a threat to the national security and the entire country, however, Xiu Min and Lu Xiao wasn't keen on leaking all the information they know about the case yet. 

The Anti-Terrorist Military Team is currently being headed by a relative of the Prime Minister, so both of them are quite sure that everything, even information considered to be confidential even to the Prime Minister, will be reported.
