The progress on the ships was steady. Since they now knew how they were going to achieve stability with a detachable mast, they were able to reach completion in regards to masts within a couple of days. A pully system lifted both the upper and lower masts together, forming a solid foundation for the sails to be strewn upon. And the wheel to be turned only required two people to operate – a marketable improvement on how many it would have taken if they were lifting the mast purely by force of man.

The Morojo's had lengths of cloth to be used for the sails, and, utilising the materials around them, they managed to fashion two stretches of dark cloth – though it was not perfect, as the dyes around them were not optimal. But it was enough to serve its purpose.
