Chương 142: His Three Ladykiller Moves (1)

"Do you want me to go in with you?" Xu Suying asked, holding onto Xiong Jingfei's hand the whole ride back. "I can stay with you?"

They were about to arrive at Yang Zheyan's front gate in a few minutes, and Xu Suying didn't want to leave Xiong Jingfei alone. Not after the way she reacted at the shrine today. Also, Xiong Jingfei was awfully quiet the whole ride back. She didn't seem to want to have a single conversation with her and wouldn't say what happened between her and the crazy grandma. 

Xu Suying's parents were worried about Xiong Jingfei but decided to not ask or probed into it further. Seeing as Xiong Jingfei was refusing to tell them what happened. They will wait until Xiong Jingfei feels she is ready to tell them. 

Xiong Jingfei finally smiled at Xu Suying and shook her head. Today, she already worried and bothered Xu Suying and her parents enough. She can't keep dragging Xu Suying into her problems any more than she already has.
