It feels warm, safe and comfortable, as if someone wrapt around you and protected you from everything bad that wishes to hurt you. If this is how death felt, than Liz wouldn't mind staying dead forever.
But unfortunately for her, this feeling was short living. When she was finally able to relax, an outside force took her violently from her comfortable zone.
In the Green Willow Hospital of K City there was a woman giving birth. Her husband stood next to her holding her hand firmly, even through the woman's nails pierced his skin until it bled from her tight grip.
Around them were nurses running hecticly around, it seemed like there were some complications.
Two of those nurses each carried a baby. If an outsider would see this they would think of twins, but this wasn't the case here, they were triplets and the youngest one of them had some trouble coming out of the mother's womb.
,,Ahhhhhh.....I can't anymore!!", screamed the sweat bathed woman on the hospital bed, her legs were spread apart for the youngest one to come out.
,,My dear please endure, the baby is almost out. Please, you can do this.", came the encouraging whispers from the blond man to his wife.
,,Please madam you have to endure a bit more, the baby is almost out, there only needs to be a little push.",said the midwife.
And this is were it became complicated.
The woman on the bed had not enough strength after giving birth to two little worms, for pushing out another one from her privat place.
Now time was of the importance the oxygen of the little guy began to run out and a caesarean section at this stage was impossible.
They had to do this from the start on, but the couple wished for a natural birth, which they new would be far more complicated than the other way around. They were advised many times to think this through again, but they would never budge from their decision.
,,No I can't.....gggaaaahhhh.... pleeeeeease, take him oooouuuuut!!!", a painful mix of screames and words came from the wife.
She only wished for them to take the baby already out from her. She now began to regret why they had chosen to do a natural birth, could they not have done the caesarean section instead.
And it was her who had to give birth and experience the labor pains, not her husband. Why did she listen to him and his stupid idea? Well, there exists no medicin for regret, one can only endure it now.
The husband could only watch desperately next to her, not able to do anything other than staying next to his wife and holding her hand.
Who had known their first batch of children were triplets and giving birth could be so agonising. They took on more then they could chew with their decision.
With the ongoing painful shouts of the woman, the two little babys started to cry and the nurses brought them out to the room next door.
The youngest was still stuck at the same place. It didn't matter how much the mother screamed or shouted she didn't have enough strength to give the baby the last push and the blood she lost made it not better.
Although she has a blood Infusion, her head was already so dizzy she could not concentrate proparly.
One minute went by, two minutes went by and the third, the midwife and nurses began to despair, the baby can't hold on any longer. They once more tried to encourage the woman for a strong last push.
,,Please madam once more, just once and the little one will be out. Think about it, a child from your own flesh and blood, calling you mother, embracing you and loving you, just with one push."
,,Dear please", the man kissed her sweat covered hand and whispered to her, tears began to flow out his handsome chisled face.
It was really weird to see such a masculine, but handsome man cry, he gave of a feeling of vulnerability and safety at the same time.
Seeing this, his wife closed her eyes, gathered the last bit of strength wherever she could get it from and gave the last one push needed.
,,Aaaaargghhhhh..."
,,It's coming, it's coming... it's out.", the midwife merrily took the baby and its cries echoed in the room.
,,WAhhhhhhh"
Liz's skin was scalding from the air contact, she hated it!
She wanted to go back to the comfortable space of hers, why was she taken out of there and had to get such a bad sting on her whole body. She wanted to cry and curse at those people and then she heard a baby's scream and froze.
At that moment the baby on the midwife's arm froze too.
Wait. Wait! Did she hear wrong? Why was she crying like a milkbun? Not possible!
Did her voice degenerate to such a point that it sounded like that of a babies now?!
She had to check this out. But it didn't matter how much she tried to open her eyes or to move around to check her surrounding, it didn't work well.
,,Shhhh, shhh, little girl be good," the midwife sends a smile to the woman who gave birth to triplets and said, ,,Madam it's a girl, congratulations."
,,Is that so."A smile adorned the woman's face and she closed her eyes.
She became unconscious from the long labor, blood loss and exhaustion of her remaining strength.
The nurses immediately went to tend to her.
It seemed she was fine and was only sleeping.
Now that both the children and mother were safe, Liz was brought to her other siblings next door.
Throught the short conversation of the midwife and the woman, no, her mother on the bed, she realized what happened.
She was brutally killed...
By her own father!
And now became a baby.
Liz was so dazed from the revelation that she didn't know how to act anymore. So she just stayed quiet.
Even later when her siblings started to cry out of hunger, she still kept quiet. What did earn some worried stares from the responsible nurses if everything was ok with her.
It was odd, she new what happened and everythig was still vivid in her mind, but she felt nothing.
No anger, no sadness, no despair, no confusion, no loathing, she felt nothing.
She was like an emotionless vessel when she thought of her father and what happened between them.
Unknown to Liz to protect her mind from breaking down, she unconsciously shut off every feelings positiv or negativ, that has to do with the man named Hary.
It was a psychological barrier that locked her of from the outside.
This had his advantages and disadvantages, as already described she could keep a clear mind due to the barrier and won't have a break down so easily.
The down side would be, no one would know she had such kind a scar in her heart and that she needs someone from outside tending for her not to have a melt down in the future, which could make a disaster to her state of mind.
But since no one knew what she had to go through and she would never bring the issue out on her own, that was not possible.
So those scars will be buried down by time and ticking like a timebomb in Liz's heart waiting to explode with a loud boom.
Being now next to her older siblings, Liz's eyes slowly accustomed to the bright light and she could see her surroundings.
It was white.
Just like many other hospitals. The room was designed white, but this room seemed to be a privat room.
Liz was in a pink cradle with one of her sibling. And next to that cradle was a blue one with another baby in it, just that this little worm could enjoy the whole cradle for himself.
These cradles were designed especially for the babies and the colours showed they gender. One of the triplets was a baby boy and the other two were girls. Which Liz was one of them herself.
There wasn't much in the room other then those cradles and large space.
Right after Liz saw the light of the world, there were nurses bringing the woman, Liz's mother to the privat room and arranging her there. So she could see her healthy babies once she woke up.
Cheking on the woman on the bed once more, the nurses left the room. And the room plunged back into silence.
Liz slowly turned her head to the best extend she could do right now to her new mother and took in all her features.
She was right now sleeping from exerting herself to much and looked lightly dishelved, but that didn't dim her beauty even one bit.
Her blond hair that stuck close to her from the sweat, her long eyelashes on her tightly closed eyes, that slightly quivered with every breath of hers.
It was really lucky for them, that it went on fine with no further complications or injuries sustained .
Liz wanted to check the situation around her more, but tiredness overcame her little body and she went into a deep slumber.
