" I know that, and I won't just sit by and watch him do as he please. I will take control of my own life. No one, even him could force me to do something I don't like.

Instead of answering her cat's inquiry, Mu Lingxi whirred into action.

She rummages her closet and throws some comfy clothes on her bed. After ransacking her closet for some clothes, she packed some dry foods and put them all together in a bag.

When everything was good to go, Mu Lingxi upheaves the big bag on her back as she beckons to her cat.

"C' mon Janus. Let's get going," she said as she tries hard to climb on her windowsill.

"MEOW???"

[Are you nuts??? Are you seriously planning to run away with a bag as big as that????]

Janus can't help but shake his head as he looked at Mu Lingxi's awkward position. He throws an inconspicuous looking sling bag to Mu Lingxi's direction.

"MEOW"

[Use that one instead, I know that you will come up to this decision sooner or later so I come prepared beforehand.]

"Errr.. Where did you get this??? And besides, it's too small! How am I going to fit all of this??? You see... we need to secure at least a month's worth of supply to last us outside."

"Well, I got that on your Mu Clan's treasury. I supposed it is some kind of space treasure. Check it out for yourself. You can store more items inside.

If you want us to steer clear of any trouble lest your grandfather decides to chase after us after he learned that you run off your marriage with the prince,... we need to be low profile. And one way to do that is not to get too much attention from your bulky bag.

Most of all, what are you doing up there??? Don't make your life more complicated than it was already. We can just use your door to get out.]

Within this night, Janus said a lot of words. This will be the first time that our cute, little black cat spoke it long statements.

"MEOW"

[It was sure too troublesome to have a silly master,]

he added as he walks towards the door with jolting buttocks. Mu Lingxi followed her scratching her eyebrows awkwardly.

"You can't blame me though. That is what I saw in movies whenever they are trying to escape from something. Now I wonder, why do they have to use the window if there was a door?????"

Mu Lingxi started to doubt her previous definition of the word 'cool'. As she now finds that act of jumping from the window silly.

To avoid getting unnecessary attention, Janus did not transform into being a huge black panther. He remained in is cute form as they sneaked at the cover of the night.

The moonlight illuminating them. They walk at the long corridor in careful steps as they try to hide among the shadows whenever they saw the guards patrolling within the residence.

Not too long later, they were already walking outside the Mu Clan's residence without alarming anyone.
