Chương 14: 14 Sorry Accepted
"I couldn't remember I was hurt. Embarrassed maybe yes...but that was long time ago." In my mind I could not believe he was holding it for so long and took this step just to express his regrets of what he did in the past. I saw his sincerity and I was here for a purpose so I have to take this opportunity to make him stop sending me of anything. This conversation with him should not take long and must be over soonest.
"Anyway, Chard for the sake of it and to fix all of these, because you are sorry, though it is not necessary....I will accept your apology only if you will stop sending me anything. You dont need to give me anything, if you only said it straight to me from the first day you start sending me, I could have forgiven you right then and there".
He thought for a while and said.... "How can I? You walked away and denied yourself when we met".
"Ahhhh...." was all I have said. I remember it now, the incident on the road going home when he called me and walked without even looking back at him. "As I have said, you're forgiven so stop what you're doing, deal?"
"You mean, I am forgiven if I will stop sending you gift? thank you Mia. I swear, no more gift asking for forgiveness because I am forgiven. So, it's a deal!" He smiled. He looked more handsome as his dimple on the right is visible when suddenly the office phone rang. He picked it up and stood. What was wrong? What was that call for that completely erased his smile. I only heared a yes, ok and thank you... I also stood up, my mission was already accomplished and I have no more reason to stay. He walked near me and ushered me out of the door. His strides were long that I sensed he was hurrying me to be out of the office. He opened the door for me, so I turned to him and said briefly "thank you. Bye." I intentionally closed the door so he could not follow. He don't need to accompany me out of his office, I exactly knew my way. And besides, I sensed he is in a hurry to get me out of the office.
I was near the counter to continue my previous activity on sending a present to my mom when I almost bumped to a beautiful lady in red dress with matching red stilleto. Her lipstick was also in a furious red. Is she an actress or a model? She looked angry with her brows almost meeting at a point on her forehead. I think I heard her cursed and I saw her looked side ways but never met my eyes. She was not interested of who she almost bumped with so I just let it passed.
