In the morning, after attending the morning attendance (meeting) with officials, Vincent gives his father excuse of visiting town and leave the castle.
There are some things like freedom to go and come from outside which is different for the two brothers, like Vincent can go freely without Knights following him around but not Travis.
This makes things between two brothers sour sometimes specially at Travis side, but there are reasons for every move of the king Valerie.
sitting in front of window is a young men with his brown hairs, pale skin like every vampire, with soft features that can lead anyone to miss his mischievous behavior.
Is non other than Travis with his eyes fixed at his elder brother going outside again, every time he saw it his jewel like red eyes flash with jealousy, bitterness and something more...like loneliness.
It's not like he hate his elder brother, honestly he didn't but instead he's envious of him.
This was implanted in him since he was very young, that he have to become greater than Vincent, he have to be good in everything and beat Vincent.
Even though he doesn't understand why but what can he say, he have tried his hardest but is it his fault that he's not excellent in everything?
He didn't want to admit it but he also know that his brother is good in everything he does, he's just perfect. So instead of trying more harder he choose to trouble the other side, so maybe he got chance to get better than him.
He, Travis Vol Vellore is the second prince of Valeria, born from a human princess, A mixed blood. The main reason that he can't succeed to the throne.
But is he correct? well.... no it's not because of this reason but because of his personality and some of his thoughts, like him comparing himself with his own brother, as a ruler should never compare himself to anyone.
He can only campare himself to his own self. A ruler should have determination in his eyes, should know how to give correct judgments, can analyze what's good for his or what's not, should know how to make others agree to his decisions, can able to see through others.
There's more in the list but Travis specially lose at making judgment of others, he can not see through others mask, like his own uncle's.
From the young age his uncle have taught him to complete with his brother to outshine him, to seize the crown prince title and throne from his elder brother.
There's knock on the door which interrupt his line of site to the disappeared figure of Vincent.
"Second prince, its time for your sword lessons, your uncle is waiting for your Highness"
*sign* "alright then, I'm coming with you"
'I will have my freedom too someday big brother, just you wait'

TheOddOne_out so here it is another update, well its about our dearest second prince, I do pity him, he's just... to much alone and mislead, ah I just love his character too
