Daichi was the start of the day. He was passed from one person to another to be admired. Everyone were agree that Daichi was indeed cute baby.
Kenichi was not impressed with it but he could not do anything. All the elder in their organisation eagerly wished to give their blessing directly. He only could askes Koji to hold the baby and showed him around.
Different from the crowd downstairs, Koji could not stop the elders to touch the baby. As the result, Daichi could not sleep at all.
First he threw tantrum but instead of pity him, the elders were very joyfull.
Daichi stopped crying and stared at them. He never seen so many people before he stared at them with his brigth blue eyes.
He inheritancad his daddy eyes but his eyes were bright like mummy. Since daddy and Godfather were not afraid of them, he too was not afraid too. He gave them fierce stare but the strangers were more joyful instead of scare of him. Ah.. Daichi signed and pouted.
It was lunch time, Kenichi started the banquet straightaway. The sooner it started, the sooner it finised and the sooner Cacha and their baby could have a rest.
In the middle of their meal, Kuro's grandfather clapped his hand to get everyone attention "Brothers and Sisters, today is a joyful occation for all of us. Lets we congratulate our young leader for the arrival of the prince"
"Congratulation master" Everyone chorused.
"Thank you to our beautiful madam for giving birth to such an adorable heir"
"Thank you Madam"
Cacha was confused why they thanked her and called Daichi as heir. She did not have chance to ask so she just smiled.
"Now let we wish our prince to be well and healthy. I hope he will be as good as his father or even better Cheers"
"Cheers for little prince"
Kuro's grandfather then came to Daichi. He put a necklace on the baby neck then the crowds cheered with joy.
Uncle Ryu, Uncle Hiro and Aunty Mei were paled. what uncle Hiro afraid of came true.
"Darling, why they call our son as prince ?" Cacha could not help but asked with soft voice.
"People call their daughter as princess, why can't son become prince ?"
"Made sense" Cacha was speechless.
Koji and the seniors could not help but praised their boss silently. Their boss was indeed smart and formidable.
Kenichi put more meat on Cacha bowl "eat more. We still have dessert"
As soon as Cacha finished her lunch, Kenichi took her and Daichi to the hotel. Koji parked the car with Aoi while Kenichi brought Cacha and Daichi to check-in.
When he was on the check-in desk, the hotel manager had been waiting for him with his mother.
Mrs Matsunaga had finished the check-in procedure for them. she gave the key to Kenichi and took Daichi from him "Hello Grandmother's little star, how are you today. Are you happy ?"
Kenichi saw the room number. He worked there for longtime, he knew it was the best room in that hotel, presidential suit with two bed rooms "I just need a normal room. We only stay for few hours"
"You stay here tonight. More convenient Cacha and Daichi" Mrs Matsunaga teased Daichi cheek.
"It's not like we live far away and has to travel for long time. Also, they're more confortable at home"
Mrs Matsunaga knew her son was stubborn. She did not like to argue with him but turned on Cacha instead "Cha, you stay here tonight, okay ?"
Cacha was in dilemma. She did not like to stay in the hotel and preferred to go home. On the other hand, she was afraid to disappoint her mother in law's good intention. Kenichi tugged her hand and winked at him.
She signed "I.. I do what ever my husband says"
Mrs Matsunaga looked up at Cacha and flared up "Young Lady. I know you love your husband but as his wife, you have to show your own opinion. Don't always do what ever he said"
Kenichi frowned "Mother, why do you angry at my wife just because she follows my opinion ? What's wrong for a wife to go by her husband's words ? Daichi, your grandmother is angry at your mum, don't let her carry you"
"You're bad son ! How could you ask my grandson to go againts me !" Mr Matsunaga really wanted to smack Kenichi's head with her bag.
Daichi who was cranky due to lack of sleep and hunger was very upsad now. He did not like the way grandmother hold him now grandmother yell at his mother. He cried to protest.
Mrs Matsunaga tried to coax him but he did not like the way grandmother coaxed him. He cried even harder and his small hands tried to grab mummy's hand.
"Is daichi okay ?" Mrs Matsunaga did not know what to do. She had very little experiences with baby. All her children grew up with help of nanny.
Cacha took Daichi from her "He's just hungry and tired" then she coaxed the baby "Good boy... Daichi is hungry right ? mum will give you milk when we're in our room, okay ?" She patted him gently
Daichi was happy to be in his mother arm. Other than Nainai, Mum was the second best to understand him. Aunty Aoi was also good. He stopped crying but still sobbed.
Kenichi smiled. Few weeks ago, Cacha was still inexperienced about Baby. She did not know why the baby cried nor what to do. She only cried together with the baby.
Now,She had become a good mother.
He kissed her head before took Daichi from her "Hey Boy.. you're a man. Man can't cry easily. You'll get your milk soon"
Daichi stared at his father with waterly eyes " Daddy..please hurry up! I'm hungry"
Kenichi called Koji to tell him the room number then he took Cacha and Daichi to take the elevator.
The hotel manager smiled. their cold unapproachable ex director was very different now. He was so gentle to his wife and his son.
"Director is more and more handsome" one of the hotel staffs shrieked after Kenichi left.
The news of Mrs Matsunaga booked room for Kenichi had known by all staffs there. Since noon, Not few of the staffs were waiting there to take a glimpse of their old director.
"His wife is very pretty, what a good match"
"True, she looks like a fresh university student"
Mrs Matsunaga's lips curved up as she was listening them praising her daughter in law. She was very blessed to have such a good daughter in law who already gave her a grandchild.
"Who is he ? "The new male receptionist asked his colleague.
"He used to be one of our director. Madam Matsunaga's eldest son"
"Oh.. is he Mr Anderson ? the CEO Anderson ?"
" Yes"
"Oh my.. I should've taken his picture. My sister is his fans"
